Can anyone tell me any sites that would allow you to buy flowers by the stem rather than in bulk? I’m giving this one last ditch effort before I give up. I was hoping to get garden roses for my upcoming wedding. I am only using the roses for my bouquet, so I’ll only need about 10 stems, I had been working with a florist who said she would be able to order them, but she’s either flaked or gone out of business, I’m not sure which. I was hoping for something fluffy, with a large head, and a high petal count like a Juliet and Cabbage rose:
I can get them online, but you have to buy at least 25, and I just don’t need that many and I would like to keep the price reasonable. I found another florist who offered Virginia roses, but thye just lok like regular roses to me. If anyone has any advice or ideas I would be really grateful.
PS – sorry I can’t edit the picture size :/

Do you not have any other florists in your area? I’m sure any florist would be happy to order the roses for you. You would have to pay a bit more, but no where near the cost of 25 roses.

I’ve called several florists, they don’t normally arrage with garden roses, so when they order they have to do so in bulk. Basically, everyone will order them for me, but I woul dhave to buy the bulk shipment

You could try a higher end grocery store with a speciality floral department (some Bees have had good luck with Whole Foods.)
But having just done DIY flowers, I would go ahead and order 25. Once you start, you may find that you want more than 10 in your bouquet -mine ended up a LOT larger than I thought- I just couldn’t seem to stop! :).
You could use extra flowers as decorations on the cake table, on the cake, etc. Use them for a centerpiece at the rehearsal dinner. Give them to the person who’s doing your reading, the catering staff as a thank you, etc.
