You can try craigslist, kohls, target, etc… for apothcary jars.  With popcorn, however, it would probably be tricky to scoop out of the jars as it gets closer to the bottom.  Maybe you could get some big glass serving bolws/martini shaped vases to hold the popcorn instead?

I just saw them at K-mart on clearance in the Martha Stewart section but I don’t remember how much they were.

 Good Luck

Target has some nice ones too. I also saw some on clearance at Target. But it varied from location to location. The most expensive ones I’ve seen at Target were $24.95 but those were huge! I’m sure you could get some smalller ones for cheap.  Good luck!

I love these jars! My first advice would be to check walmart and meijer. I went to both of these stores and have seen these jars recently. I dont know the price but both of these should be very reasonable and no shipping! Also these jars were HUGE at tjmaxx and homegoods this summer. You may be able to find some left over or some new stock there.

A couple of things to consider: These jars have small necks and generally tall. Like EK I am not sure they would be easy to get out towards the bottom, or even at the top with a scoop. I was able to find one with a really wide neck but havent seen another out in the stores since this summer/fall.

Suggestions: Miss flamingo talks about popcorn buffets on her preweddingbeee blog: http://glamourthis.wordpress.com/category/gifts-favors/   She lists english garden and ikea as sources for jars.
