Very excited! Its all getting real:)) I am starting to get over being mopy with not having my spring wedding… which would be the 22nd of this month:( But weather,decor,food, that all doesn’t matter. I am marrying my soul mate after 8 yrs by then!!! This Sept.will be 8 yrs already!!!
Any advice on what I should look for? The caterers that were recommended from our venue just took toooo long to get back to me(2 months now) and I just wasn’t impressed. We will have to rent table setups such as china and silverware if we do not go through them. Which is fine. Maybe since it is an off season wedding and a Thurs.they will include that for us:))

what kind of menu are you thinking of? Buffet or sitdown? How many choices? Apps? Dessert or a Viennese hour or both? Does your caterer provide alcohol? If so, beer and wine, or liquor? Open bar? Wine on tables, served by waiters or do guests have to get their own at the bar? Is the toast included? If you have to rent the setups, do they do setup/cleanup? What about your cake? Some caterers will charge a cake cutting/serving charge if they don’t do your cake and you use a separate bakery.
Enough questions? LOL!
And I agree, non-response is a huge turnoff for me, a florist did that to me and I crossed her right off my list. If she can’t even get back to me to GET my business, how can I trust her to be dependable after I pay her???

@sehrler: Oh my!!! We go through our venue for alcohol,so thats ok, only beer and wine. Um I want a sitdown because I do not want to make my guests wait in line. We are having 50ish people. Like 54 plates including us and 2 photgogs,and kids. Cake cutting fee,good idea to ask! I would like 2-3 apps for sure. All great questions to ask and thank you!!! The venue charges some one else to use their kitchen…is this normal??? If I do not go with the preferred caterer. I hope this caterer is ok with that!!!!
