Um…I’m bad.  I should probably be feeling stressed, but I’m not.

I need to finish getting all the addresses/then address my invites.  I plan to mail them 7 weeks before the wedding.

I need to have a bustle added to my gown and have get to contact the seamstress.

I need to rent chairs, finish music, figure out gift for my SIL who is doing a reading for us, buy/cook food, assemble the favors… these are all things that I need to do later, though…except for the SIL gift.

The details are pretty much all that I have left to do and they are driving me NUTS! I’m starting to regret thinking I could DIY so many things lol.

I finally got my dress into the seamstress but I’ve since gained a little weight since I tried it on and I am now on a quick workout mode to lose some lbs. I am waiting on my new invites from zazzle so I can send them out. I have to go and rent a table skirt for my cake table because my reception hall only supplies the ivory ones and I want black. I still need to decorate my chinese boxes for my candy buffet and make my card box. I’m sure there’s something else, I just can’t think of it right now.

I’m stealing Miss Earing’s favors.  We have the jars and have cut out all the fabric. My mom is going to make the labels for me on her cricut.  Just need to assemble them all…we’ll probably do that the weekend before the wedding.

I’m pretty laid back about the whole affiar.  I have tried to keep it as simple as possible.  I’m sure there will be details I miss, but the overall experience will be great.  We’re DIY a lot, but I have a lot of great family/friends who are helping.

I’m with you, ladies!  the details are definitely harder to figure out than I thought!  Every time I turn around it feels like I remember one more thing that I need to make a decision on.  It sounds like a lot of you are DIYing lots of things for your wedding.  Have you started on programs yet?  I’d love to just design them in Word and get them printed at Kinko’s or something but I have no idea where to start.  Any thoughts on where to get a good template?  I’d like to do like a little booklet with a few pages.

Does anyone have a timeline? My ceremony starts at 4:30 and if someone has theirs ready, can I see it? I have no idea what time to get up and start getting ready.

@smiles1979:  I am mailing out our invitiations Feb. 28th, so pretty close to you….can I ask what date you put on the RSVP cards for people to return by? I put March 25th, but I just pulled that outta thin air!

 

@xshellx2003:  I don’t really have a timeline typed up yet or anything, but mine also starts at 4:30pm and my hairdresser said we should start at 9am…keep in mind that it will probably differ compared to how many ladies need their hair done (I will have 9 including myself, BMs, and mothers).

 

I am definately stressin! I think I have made things way harder for myself by taking on DIY invitations and projects, but I know I will love it that much more on the big day!  Here are the main things I need to get done so far:

-All silk bouquets & corsages
-Writing the ceremony with my Pastor
-Final dress fittings
-Attending my showers & Bachelorette party!
-Hair & Makeup trial
-Ceremony programs
-Ceremony Music
-Decide seating arrangements & make a table chart

Those are the main things..I have other DIY projects I am working on but those I can always cut out if I run out of time.
