OMG! I can’t believe it’s only 3 months away!!! I started getting anxiety attacks when I think to deeply into it and I can’t make myself fall asleep at night. I still have quite a bit and now it’s crunch time!

  • Finalize the flowers and the cake design
  • Set up an appointment with the officiant
  • Get my invatations printed
  • Alterations for my dress! (Coming this week) :”]]
  • I need to get my sand unity vase set and find wording

I’m sure Ii have more stuff, that that’s at the top of my list.

Yay for finally being in 2011!

Some thing on the to-do list include:

– Mailing out the invites

– Deciding on the chocolate favors

 – Get my dress altered (appointment 2/19)

 – Booking our ceremony musicians

– Painting the wedding tree canvas for our rehearsal dinner

– Meet with officiant to finalize ceremony, then work on programs

There are several smaller things, but those are the big things right now.

@Ms.Teddy: I love our programs, but I know that they are going to take some time to put together so I want to get started early.  It seems like there are so many little things that need to be done!

My list also looks like many of yours!

I was told a couple months ago to check back in Jan. (after the holidays) – so now I have even more to do….

Wow…less than 4 months….I’m freaking a little…

Though I pretty much know what has to be done…so just have to do it..sigh!

Hey April 30 brides!!!

I have EVERYTHING to do. LOL Many vendors told me to check in after the holidays too. I’ve designed most of the paper products but need to get them printed. The ceremony is planned but need to meet and have it approved by our pastor.

Done:
Picked out tuxedos
Bought FI band
Bought shoes and accessories
Completed guest list (still looking for addresses)
January:
Meet with vendor and finalize menu/cake (this weekend)
Meet with florist and finalize centerpiece design (in 2 weeks)
Make up trial (in 2 weeks)
Book band (on FIs list…but I have to keep on him)
February:
Attendants dress fitting (early Feb.)
My second dress fitting
Pray I get done:
DIY aisle runner
DIY Seating chart (collage frame)
Order button favors
pick signature drinks

…and the list goes on. Remain positive and keep pushing forward!

We’ll be traveling over the Denmark (from Germany) for a civil cermony, so my to-do list is considerably more basic: top priorities figure out what to wear and pick and confirm location!  Since only our nearest and dearest will be there, we don’t need to worry about invitations and rsvps, just about getting the details organized as quickly as possible so transatlantic travel can be arranged.  No, that’s not stressful at all … 🙂

I’m just glad we decided to go this route and save the reception (back in the states) for this fall, so I only have the actual wedding to arrange in a few short months, not the big party too!

My list looks very similar to the ones already listed…regretting taking such a break from planning during the holidays..oops!

My highest priority right now is the invitations and the rest is just additional stress like the fact that I’m still waiting for my wedding dress I ordered FOREVER ago to come in!
