-Each others gift
-Purchase my bracelet and get my dress turned into a corset back
-Purchase our memorial and ceremony candles
-Get FI’s wedding band
-Get my tanning membership
-Do my hair/makeup trial
-Purchase our guest sign in cards (well wishes) and the box we are putting them in.

This may seem like a lot to do, but once you get started on them they will fly by. In getting married April 21, 2012. We have a wedding cordinator, cater, florist, photographe, DJ, waiting on my dress to come in and a few other things.
This is what I still have to do:
Decide on centerpieces
order flowergirls dresses
get the guys tuxes
order a boat load of decorations
have 3 meetings with our paster
I’m sure there is moree that I can’t think of right off the top of my head. Good Luck and Congrats.

We’re getting there. My uncle emailed me today to say that he’s going to send me my stationery suite tomorrow and my dressmaker has also emailed to say that I’ll be trying on a first real fabric version (rather than the toiles) of my dress on Saturday.
We still need to:
- Write and send our invitations
- Finalise the evening guest list (the day is sorted)
- Choose my fiance’s sporran
- Speak to my friend’s mum who’s doing the flowers
- Order the flowergirl dresses (I’ve got assent from one of the mum’s but waiting for the other to agree and both to give sizes)
- Chase up the venue for the stag and hen party
- Speak to my friend who’s playing the piano
- Get my brother to rehearse the processional
- Get everyone in the bridal party to learn the communal song on the ukulele
So we’re mostly onto detail stuff rather than big things.

@MrsBoomBoom: Most wedding coordinators in the New Orleans area are about $1k for the day/month of. You should definitely try to book a florist soon though, because that is a busy time of year for weddings.
Here is my list:
- Order invitations and get them out the door
- Order wedding favors
- Make wedding programs
- Do another hair/makeup trial
- Purchase and plan decor for the venue
- Buy fiance’s wedding band
- Make a guest book
- Make signage
Probably lots more. I feel way behind, but at least I am caught up on my thank you notes.
