    Well...I get married this Saturday....which is in about 4 days!

    I still have last minute details to tie up for the wedding...still have to finish cleaning my house for the guests that will be coming in on Thursday!

    And I'm freaking out about me and my dress...sigh!

    Me and stress...apparently do VERY bad in a situation like this where I will be the center of attention and will have all this pressure to feel like I should be looking my best...

    and I just have to accept that it's not going to happen right now. sigh! I won't be one of those brides that will look her 'absolute' best..but if I can fit into my dress and be able to finagle a way to ensure my makeup/hair come out great and NOT screw up something then I think I'm good..:)

    I know that the day of things will happen....but as long as it's not a bad something that I caused...I will do my best to take a deep breath and let someone else worry about it!

    Anyone else feeling as frazzled a few days out?

    (I think I'll feel more calm the morning after....when I can wake up next to my 'husband!' and not have to feel all the stress and pressure!

    Thanks hive for hearing my vent..;)

    You'll make it and it'll be beautiful!  I know where you're coming from.  My wedding was this past Saturday (!) and it was better than I even hoped for.  Last week, however, was horrible.  Well, there were some really wonderful moments for sure, but I did not enjoy the days leading up to the wedding.  It all pulled together and I had one of the happiest weekends of my life.  I didn't think I'd be able to say that, but it was great.  I bet you'll be so happy on Saturday that you'll just glow and be beautiful even if you didn't meet certain goals. Hang in there!

    I was the exact same way leading up to the wedding. It's normal, so just do your best to breathe!

    I took a couple of yoga classes and went for a massage the few days before I left for our destination wedding because I was so stressed. Although it's a busy time for you right now just remember to take a moment or two for yourself. Every detail won't be prefect so kept that perspective in mind and just enjoy your time because it all works out in the end!

    I found that despite my stressing and worrying everything did work out in the end. The main part is just trying to stay calm and collected and if you can do that then you'll look good no matter what. False eyelashes saved the day for my photos and makeup because they lasted all day and night. Everything else my bridesmaids took care of, so just put faith in the people you chose to surround you on your big day.

    Relax :) Enjoy every minute of it!

    @cafegirl: Congratulations!

    @smiles1979: My wedding is a week from yours and I am already freaking out too.  I know what you mean about the stress of being the center of attention and having to look your best!  It makes me want to drink a bunch of wine and pig out, but that would definitely NOT make me look my best.

    Thank you for all the encouragement and letting me know I'm not alone. :)

    @cafegirl & west.coast.blonde - glad to hear all went well, despite fears.

    @pomapoo: haha..yeah, I hear ya on the wine and pig out with food..

    I'm feeling VERY much like a piggy lately as I have been overindulging and know that food/drink days up to the wedding aren't going to be salad and water..haha...so I'll just have to certainly try on my dress tonight and keep myself in check. Then pick and choose in the coming days what I eat or indulge in before the big day...

    sigh...

    I think I'll certainly need a massage when we're on our honeymoon! :)

    Take care ladies!

    I'm with you!  My stomach hurts and I don't want to eat most the time....until I DO want to eat, when I want to eat only BAD foods and a lot of them!

    I have a pretty good hold on the to-do list and feel confident it will work out.

    I do also feel bummed I'm heavier than I wanted to be, but my dress zips! LOL, and I'm sure that will all disappear on the day!

    Congrats to you!

    @MissRobots - :) Thank you.

    Yeah, that's what I have to make sure of too - that my dress zips..so we'll see. :)

    @AlliRaie - thanks. :)

    Congrats to us all for getting married already or working on getting married very soon! :D

    @missrobots:

    @smiles1979:

    Mine is Saturday as well and I'm feeling THE EXACT SAME WAY!  Except no one is staying at my house except my mom and she expects it to look like a tornado hit it.  I did clean the guest room though!

    There is sooo much pressure to look perfect, but my FI reminded me yesterday that the only thing that matters is that he thinks I'm beautiful and he will think I'm beautiful on Saturday just like he thinks I'm beautiful today.  I'm sure your FIs feel the same way.  So let's just keep telling ourselves that, k?!

    I'm sharing the same irrational fear that my dress won't zip.  But I figure if my mom thinks my fear is completely unfounded, then it must be.  She'd be the first to tell me if I should be worried! LOL

    I'm so excited for Saturday but it hasn't sunk in yet that it's actuallty happening! It probably won't until I start walking down the aisle hehe.

    I am also freaking out about my dress. They just took it in a little more this past Saturday and it is pretty snug now. I tend to eat when I get stressed so let's hope it still fits!

    Good luck everyone!

    Now we are days away and it is very nerve wrecking!! I am also cleaning my house to host a rehearsal dinner on Friday.

    2 of my toilets decided to stop working ($$$ for plumber); my MOHs mother died last week and she (and my officiant) will not return until the morning of our wedding. YIKES!!! The limo we were getting for free is now not available just days before the wedding.

    I just finished most of my DIY projects. Last thing to do is the programs (my diecutter blade is not working and the replacement did not arrive in time, so on to plan B). I also have to finish pew decor (DIY flowers) and my aisle runner.

    I am a ball of nerves. Although today was a good day. I pick up my dress Friday.

    You girls will be totally fine!! Everything will be great. I was an ABSOLUTE wreck the few days before mine. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate on a single thing. On the day of, everything went perfectly. So smooth, everything was beautiful, and I didn't freak out on the day of. It turns out all of the stress and planning and control-freak-bridezilla-ing is worth it the days before because it helps you let go the day of and just enjoy it!

    You're getting married! At the end of the day, you will be a Mrs. And that's the ultimate goal! You will do great! Just relax, keep yourself busy doing things you enjoy and spending time with people you love. :) and post pics afterwards!

    Good luck!
