No plans for me. However, it is my g'pa's birthday and that is no joke.
No plans at all. I have never done anything for that day actually. Pranks and jokes are so not my thing, I usually bail at the last minute becuase I feel bad! I am thinking of calling out that day to get some errands done though... yippy!
Last year I made cupcake-meat loaf for dinner... where you cook the meatloaf in a cupcake pan and put mashed potatoes on top to look like icing :) This year... Maybe I'll do the cupcakes that look like hamburgers?
I'm sending my BMs a really awful looking pair of shoes and telling them they must wear them for my wedding.
Keep the ideas coming. My other half is always so alert that I haven't had any luck tricking him. I need something good this year.
bestforlast - there's a LOT you could do with wedding stuff - send him anything outrageous and tell him you want it at the wedding; what does he think?
Ooh, I need to ask my husband if his family is big into April Fool's... I never really did much but they strike me as the kind of people who might.
Maybe I'll tell people I'm pregnant again... last year we told some people around this time and it wasn't a joke! :)
I'm not a big trick/prank person at all. I have class that night which isn't a joke.
April Fools Day is actually our 2 year anniversary (not engagement, when we started dating). It always cracks me up to think that's our day, but Hey! it's easy to remember.
It's my son's 9th birthday!! He'll actually be in Nashville visiting his daddy but I usually sing happy birthday and grin all day long. And yes he is a prankster and loves to tell jokes <3
I have nothing planned which makes me so sad.
One year I collected newspapers for months in preparation for April Fools and crumpled them into balls. I filled my BF's study with them while he was at work - FILLED IT TO THE BRIM. By the end I was standing with the door half closed and tossing the newspaper in while trying to keep newspaper from pouring through the crack in the door... When he got home and opened the door it just poured out into the hallway. Priceless. Just Priceless. It was totally worth the hours of cleaning up and trips to the recylcing bin.
Not really a big prank person. I've never got all that into April Fools Day.
I'm going to see if I can do this at work this year. I'm going to put signs up the day before about how our copiers are now voice activated.
I got a few coworkers who are volunteer to go up there and say "COPY" or "SCAN". Then someone else on their computer print something at the same time, so it looks like it worked.
hehe
I'm thinking about filming people yell at the copier things like "Copy in black in white" or "Copy double sided and staple"
LOL
I hope I can pull this off!
yrret -- that is actually pretty funny; I hope you can pull it off!
I am not really a prank person too much. It was my grandmother's birthday, too!
I will, however, but going door to door on a community initiatives survey, no joke; I hope people don't think it's a prank!

...anyone have plans?
My classmates and I decided we're going to speak with really strong American accents in class. Dorky, I know, but American accented Chinese is sooooo ridiculous!
What about you?
