We sent ours out in February for a July wedding. I say go for it!
I hope not...like doctorGirl I was a procrastinator. We just sent ours for our August wedding.

We are getting married in October and won't have ours out until the end of April. I think you're all good :)
I say go for it too! Ours will probably be sent out late March. Better late than never is the philosophy I'm adopting! And I'm glad you like the post.

Oooh good to know, tallgal. I had hoped to send ours out last month, but that didn't happen. They are almost finished, but I'm still waiting on a guest list so I know who to send them to . I'm hoping to send ours out this month for our late Oct. wedding.
I agree with everyone else. I was a total slacker during the process but no one noticed the were a little later than most STDs and I got a lot of compliments on how much people enjoyed getting them. Everyone loves mail right? Especially when its not bills.
My wedding is in mid-October, and I'm hoping to send my save-the-dates tomorrow...so I don't think it's too late, at all!

I don't think its too late. You might want to spread the word to your out of town guests so they can start planning, but otherwise I think you'll be fine with that timing.
I would definitely do it. I've actually found myself getting slightly annoyed with brides in my family or close friends who haven't sent save-the-dates. It is such a nice opportunity for out of town guests to plan ahead, reserve a hotel, etc.

Hey Hive!
We wanted to do postcard STDs like in Miss Ducky's post today (so cute!!), but due to life being hectic, we won't be able to do a photo-shoot until April. Our wedding is in late September. If we get the STDs out by mid-April, is that a little late? Should we try for something else sooner?
