bees, i am 15 weeks along and want to start taking some pregnancy classes to keep fit. now i am torn between yoga and aqua fitness. do you have any recommendations? or should i take yoga first and then do the aqua fitness once i have gotten bigger?or the other way round? 🙂 or is there another type of pregnancy class you would recommend?

I think you should take both it you can, but I’d choose yoga if I could only do one. It taught me moves that I can do anywhere to relieve back pain & discomfort, which is more practical that needing a pool. I’m not sure which one makes you more “fit”, but I liked yoga for the ease of use anytime.
Also my yoga class taught us lots of relaxation & breathing techniques to help us cope with labor & contractions. Most of what I learned in yoga showed up in our hospital childbirthing class.

I’ve been taking prenatal yoga since around 8-9 weeks (I’m 15 now) and I really like it. There are several moves that I do daily now that help me relax.

Both sound great! Personally i love anything water based for pregnancy as it is just so refreshing to be in the water and also i like that the water carries your weight. I think yoga is only recommended after the first trimester if you are new to it.
