I got a cleaning solution from my jeweler. The solution is blue and has a little basket that I put my ring in and leave for about a minute. Then I rinse with warm water while using the tiny brush that comes with it to kind of polish the stones.

I also take it to the jeweler about once or twice a year to have it professionally cleaned (steaming and all that fun stuff).

I don’t have an aquamarine ring, but I’m guessing you can clean it the same way you would a diamond: mild dishwashing detergent and a soft bristle toothbrush.

Your ring is gorgeous! Congratulations on your engagement! I have an aquamarine RHR; to be honest, I haven’t found anything that cleans it well at home, so I take it to the jeweler whenever I can (Mine is from Zales, so whenever I’m at the mall, it’s easy to take in).

@TaraMay_:  +1  I use the same solution with my aquamarine ring.
