@allyfally:  First, you are very lucky that your mom gave you a house! I wish.

Second, my FI is pretty up to speed on kids because he has so many nieces and nephews courtesy of my family, lol.

My husband said somethig similar the other day. I just reminded him that I’ll be in the nursery a lot, and would prefer not to feel squished in it. :p

You’re not alone. We HAVE about 75% of the stuff we need for our baby, and my DH is still trying to defy physics at every turn, thinking things will fit when they won’t. SMH.

@allyfally:  Haha! I think they’re just trying to get out of work that needs to be done.

@allyfally:  II had a female friend who was pregnant and thinking she could keep a queen bed in the “nursery” when the baby came. The room was maybe 10′ x 10′. If there was a crib in there you wouldn’t be able to stand between it and the bed! So… it’s not just men. 😉

@allyfally:  I don’t know… but it’s gonna end up in your living room if you try to keep a bed in there! My 10 month old nephew has more furniture than his parents! Thankfully, he has his own room now, so everything stays in there and their apartment doesn’t look like a daycare center anymore!

Haha, DH wanted to move our table out of the 9X6 dining nook and put the baby there. Right near the door of our apartment in BOSTON.

I was like “Haha, over my dead and rotting corpse. But you’re cute!”

@BrandNewBride:  Boston area resident here. Oh man. Not happening.

I am seriously considering turning our huge walk-in closet in our bedroom into a nursery. No joke.
