I made the huge mistake of not breaking mine in enough before the wedding. I wore them for a few minutes, here and there, just around the house. This was merely two weeks before the wedding. In hindsight, I would have started breaking them in MUCH sooner. My wedding was close to 7 months ago, and only last month did I regain all feeling in my two big toes!! :-/ They were literally numb for months, so I must have incurred some killer nerve damage. Thankfully, now that the feeling has returned, I won't have to see a podiatrist! They are beautiful shoes, but definitely stiff!
@gardenroses: I guess I should at least try to break them in. I'll have to do it when FI is sleeping though since I don't want him to see them :-/
I bought a pair to wear with summer dresses and I had to return them. I could not walk in them....literally. I don't know how anyone could have. I tried on different sizes....nothing worked. I have a pretty average foot, I'm an average weight....I don't think it's me.
BMs are not for me.
I think that your feet will kill no matter which pair of heals you wear, especially if you are not used to wearing heals for 10 hours +. Pick your poison, they are all the same.
I think it depends on the pair. I have a pair of Badgleys that are 4 1/2 inches tall without a platform, and they are definitely not comfortable. Thankfully I only wore them for the reception, so I just changed into flip flops. :) My bridesmaid on the other hand, had a pair of badgleys of the same height but with a platform, and was able to wear them all night. So, yeah, I think it depends!
wear them around the house first - they're good for the first two hours or so but after the whole day... I'd bring a second pair with you to be safe.
I have a pair and they are insanely comfortable. Definitely break them in - and wear them for a night on the town. And be conscious that they WILL bother your feet if you're not acclimated to wearing heels in the first place.
That being said, good shoes are worth the $!
I loved my Badgley's. (I wore the Lacie's.) But make sure you get the right size first of all - order a half size up. Break them in, I wore them around the house for about a month and half - mainly because I loved them so much and always wanted to be in them. Lol. I had mine on from about 12pm - 10 pm and I took them off for the last hour. I'd say 10 hours is pretty darn good!

So there was a thread a few weeks back about Badgley Mischka shoes. I bought a pair a while back that are the perfect color to match my wedding and now I'm worried. I haven't seen another pair by another designer that comes close... but now I'm worried about my poor feet. So, who wore them?
Boo, meant to post this in shoes.
