Only if they are professional dancers or are REALLY good naturally.

    Otherwise, not so much.

I think they can be fun. Depends on your bridal party’s personality and if your guests would appreciate it or not.

They cheesy for sure, but in a cute way. Unless not everyone is totally 100% into the dance and really puts enthusiasm and spirit into it (like for example, in the JK wedding entrance video there is one couple that is so not into it and it’s obvious, and I really feel it takes away from the entire performance.)

I am inclined to say that they are cheesy, however, I have never actually seen one in real life. I think honestly if you could pull it off, it could be really awesome! hehe, but I am a huge dork so you might not wanna take my advice Laughing

I voted totally lame.. it would be fun if they are all really into it and pretty good dancers, otherwise i think its just awkward for everyone… however, our enterances to the reception, i’m having each ‘couple- GM+BM’ come in, do one cute little dance move and keep going (we’re doing Bruno Mars- I think I want to marry you), i think its cute because its simple, we could never get away with an all out dance number

Cheesy in an awesome way.  I wouldn’t do it because it’s not what either me or FI want for our wedding, but I would LOVE to be a bridesmaid in one of these!

They are really awkward for me.. maybe that is just because my friends are always really gratuitously sexual when they dance & I am turned off by that?

Best ‘dance off’ I ever saw was my friend [groom] doing a fusion swing-tango with one of his male friends. it was like figure skating on the dance floor, very entertaining.

eta: they completely improved it and it was phenomenal–not everyone could pull this off, but they are a terribly flamboyant and outgoing goofy pair 🙂

Recently we went to two weddings with choreographed BP dances and I have to admit: a little boring… What with the speeches, father/daughter & mother/son dances, cake cutting, etc… It was a lot of time spent in our chairs at the reception.

I find them cheesy and uncomfortable to both watch and take part in!
