Are you trying to purchase via a Chinese replica dress vendor or an online boutique?  I am having a reception dress made by Chinese vendor, Duosheng, and purchased my wedding gown via mydreamdress.com.  I've had a great experience but I'm an online shopper.

A Bee just showcased her dress from Jeff Liu and it included lace.  Check out @adwc, she's purchased several dresses from different vendors.  Here's the vendor who have received good reviews:

Landy Bridal- Has a forum on projectwedding.com as well

Jeff Liu(Some bad reviews)

Duosheng(Ebay store)- A little more expensive.  Will have my dress next wk.(Can't wait)

Milly Bridal- Excellent work w/ Beading but can take a longer time to get.- Has a forum on projectwedding.com as well.

If you use these vendors, I don't think you'll have an issue.  Just ordered early so if there are any issues, you can get a dress elsewhere.

I feel its all about the choice and finding the reviews that match the style of dress you are looking for. For example, if you are intrested in lace, beading, chiffon, satin...make sure you seek out a good reliable vendor that has sample pics with this material. A great vendor will have a supply of images that can help make you, the customer feel comfrotable.

As squeak35 pointed out ^_^. I have purchased 3 dresses from two different vendors. I did plenty of research and noticed that my 1st dress was a mistake because I had never seen a lace gown from this vendor. I trusted in what they described for materials and excepted a lack of communication. (aprilsbridal/jeffliu ***my experience seems to be different from most however, its similar to another bee that received the same crappy materials)

My postive experience was with dressilyme and I truly appreciate everythng about the company. I loved their service, efficiency, and their quality. If you would like to hear more you can check out my reviews.

I have seen some amazing work from many other bees from their company. Duosheng smtweddingstore on Ebay, seems to be doing wonderful work for many ladies on the board. I think they are gaining a nice reputation. However, since I didn't work with them personally I can't speak for them officially.

I would say trust your gut, do your research, and don't accept less from the company.

Reviews on ebay mean nothing ladies! Just trust your communication with the seller themself.

That way you wont receive an unworthy dress from China.
