We are having our ceremony and reception at a restaurant at the top of a skyscrapper. It is a very well known building in our city, but once you’re on the property, it is a bit tricky to find your way around.
My parents think that we need to include a detailed card with the invites telling people directions to the building, where to park, what entrance to walk into, how to get through the building to get to the restaurant…etc.
My opinion is that if I were meeting any one of my guests for dinner at this restaurant on any other (non-wedding) night, they would all figure out how to get there without me having to detail out their every step.
We are having a small-ish wedding and everyone invited either lives or grew up in the area, so they are all familiar with the location of the building. I am planning to have some directional signage once they enter the building to guide people to the correct elevator, but that was all I was planning to do.
Do you think we also need to include a separate direction card with the invites?
