Favors are never necessary, but they are especially unneccessary when you have welcome bags!

I say nay to favors!!!  You have a lot already.  I think the bags are perfectly fine!!

I don’t think favors are necessary in general. However, if you really want to do them…go for it. Maybe you’ll come across some cheap ideas!

@dynamic_duo: Definitely understandable. I wouldn’t worry about not having favors!

Usually I’d say welcome bags can’t replace favors b/c not everyone stays in a hotel and gets one, but if it’s destination then everybody should get one and that’s fine. Especially b/c you’re giving out fans too, so it’s not like they’re not getting a gift at the wedding.

I agree with everyone else, favors aren’t needed with any wedding.

Especially weddings with fabulous welcome bags!!!

I wouldn’t worry about it.

The things that you already have sound perfect.  I do not think people are also going to expect favors.  A welcome bag sounds like a favor to me!  Sounds like you want favors but also need to keep in line with a budget so I say ditch the favors.

Favors are never necessary. I did not have favors or welcome bags, and did not miss them.

Don’t do favors!  Seriously, this is one of the things I wish I’d skipped.  SO not important to the overall reception.

I’m so glad I came across this post bc I was torn about whether or not to do favors and now I am completely sure that I won’t do them and save that money:) I’ve been to several weddings iwth favors and can’t even remember what i did with them.
