Just wondering if these are neccessary since they do cost extra. Do these somehow make the dancing experience more fun? Are Flashy DJ Lights Neccessary for the Dance Floor? : wedding dj lights dancing Icon Razz

Nope, not necessary. We had them, I didn't much care for them, and they spoiled some of the pictures of the dancing. You'll be fine without them.

You don't need them. Dancing will be just as much fun without them.

Not necessary, but if you want a cheap option, we bought a set of sound activated colored lights for $50 from a DJ store.

Tivoli,

I wouldn't do flashy lights but something to give the dance floor a glow of light or to highlight it. Maybe some uplighting on the walls near it or something.
