I know, seems silly I’m even asking.
We are having a fall wedding in AK and I’m thinking a jacket like this would help make everyone (including myself) a little more comfortable. However, does it come across too winter-y? Our wedding is in late september. TIA

it would look kinda silly and weird like when you see a girl wear shorts in the winter

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
Same style could work but different material. The furry ones scream winter.

Hmmmm the ALL fur ones I’d probably say no on reads TOO wintery.
Are you just wearing these for outside photos or for the entire big day?
Perhaps some of these options instead:
If you want a furry one I would opt for a smaller length AND perhaps not white (would look particularly well if you have a rustic venue/theme)
Also you can wear these on so many everyday occassions after the big day and will be reminded of your wedding day when you do wear them 😉
A white peacoat:
I would only opt for this if you are having a laid back and fun type of wedding:
Also what I like about this is tht plaid comes in so many colors perhaps you can find one that fits your color scheme.
This is also really fun and youthful especially if you are having an upscale and glamorous party:
A sequin blazer
You can also wear bridal caplets, bridal capes, lace sleeves, etc. to make it more fall appropriate but won’t provide you TOO much warmth though. Check out your nearest bridal salon and see the options they have.

@MamaLlama: I don”t believe they’re just for a Winter wedding, though it depends on the material. White furry ones do look Wintery, a lighter fur / material will definetly work.

This is the one I hope to wear at my wedding at the end of Sept.

I agree with Pps. I wore a little jacket for our ceremony. It was October in Palm Springs so still very much summer weather. But I was sheer, no fur. I think fur is very wintery but maybe something else would work.

The big furry white ones DO scream winter to me.
We will be doing white [for me] and black [for my bms] fancier type cardigans for my october wedding.

I got married in November, which is winter here anyway, and I wore a coat for some of our outdoor pics.
It could be another option if you don’t want to wear fur.
