Hayls:  I own a few 4 inch pairs of Choos and find them very comfortable; I can wear them for up to 10 hours with no problems (I did have Choos for my wedding but they were only 2.5 inches so don’t really count lol). I personally find that I find more expensive shoes WAY more comfortable (I’ve got quite  a few pairs of Ginas and a pair of Loubs as well as my Choos), which for me is probably down to a combination of factors effective the shape of my feet (narrow), the fact I’m between sizes and a lot of cheaper makes don’t do half sizes, the quality of materials, and the way they’re constructed (they’re quite padded in the sole which I find stops that horrible burning/rubbing feeling you can get in high heels).

I do know people that find them uncomfortable though, so my advice would just be to try some on in person, and see how they feel. My mum has quite wide feet and would just never fit into them, so it’s definitely worth trying them first.

Hayls:  Honestly I find them pretty equal in terms of comfort, though it’s hard to compare as they’re all different styles. JC probably has a very slight edge over Gina but that’s partly because my Ginas are mostly crystal styles (eg crystals on the strap over the toes) which obviously isn’t as flexible/comfortable as leather or plain fabric (which my Choos are). My Loubs are super comfy esp considering the height (4.75 with a 0.5 platform); I can wear them for hours. Desperate for another pair! Also want a pair of Manolos, haven’t got any of those yet lol

I wore Choos (these Sierras) for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding shoot (which involved traipsing around a resort and going down rocky steps to get to a beach!) and they were very comfortable despite being crazy tall. I’ve also worn them to another friend’s wedding and they held up all night. The platform is very well-padded, which is key. I also have wide-ish feet and found the leather to be very accommodating.

In terms of what’s most comfortable, it really depends on your feet. I pretty much can’t wear Louboutins, because they’re really made for narrow feet IMO. For me the most comfortable are Jimmy Choo, Valentino and Charlotte Olympia.
