I had lunch with my sister a few hours ago and I got a turkey burger and fries from Fatburger. She was shocked that I would eat an “unhealthy” meal like that just days before my wedding. If I haven’t been dieting this whole time, why would I start now with 4 days to go?
Are other brides carrying on eating “junk” or regular food before the wedding?

My regular foods are mostly junk haha. I didn’t go out of my way to eat horribly but if I wanted it, I ate it.

Not me I was on a cleanse all last week!! this week I had zoom whitening so I can only eat white foods so I am existing on vanilla protein shakes and chicken breast. I will be dieting till the 23rd in which we will be having our post DW BBQ so I plan on eating junk then. Then on 25th we leave for Punta Cana!! Wedding is on the 29th! So I am sure in the time that I arrive in PUnta Cana till the wedding i will be off the diet! which is why I have been so strict leading up to it!!

I ate like a freaking BEAST the few months up till my wedding day. I was doing cardio + strength training 4-5x a week in addition to 4-5 weekly hot yoga sessions so I was hungry ALL the time. And then of course I had my bridal shower (which had tons and tons of the most delicious food and drinks ever), husband’s work shower (work potlucks = fatness), bachelorette party (the first half of the day was a food/eating tour for crying out loud), and amazing rehearsal dinner. I couldn’t have dieted even if I wanted to lol.
I mean, I didn’t go out of my way to eat crap fast food or anything, but I certainly didn’t give myself hell for indulging in the great food that surrounded my wedding festivities. And mostly I just comforted myself with the fact that ballgowns are forgiving. ;]

Five days before my wedding, I had seven guests from Japan show up. For several of them, it was their first time ever in the US. I played tour guide for them for those few days, which included several huge meals while they tried American foods. I ate so much worse than I usually do. It worked out, though, since I was happy with how I looked on my wedding day.

I had Taco Bell the day before my wedding as I was running around like a crazy person getting everything set up. I don’t regret it one bit!

Eh, we try to eat healthier, but I have a weakness for sweets and things that are deep fried. I work out, but I don’t put strict diet rules on myself or anything. What’s the point in living if you can’t enjoy the delicious things that are out there?

I don’t plan on changing the way I eat at all before my wedding – everything in moderation!
