Their prices seem too good to be true! They have 1.50 ctw bridal sets with .50-1.C center stone for the same price my 1ct bridal set with a .3-.4 centerstone Was! I’m thinking I should have got my ring from this site??? Anyone have any experience ordering from them??

I know a couple other Bees have bought from them & been happy, but I have no personal experience.

We bought our gold wedding bands from them. They are legit and super easy to deal with. I ended up returning my plain band, but my husband loves his. Not sure about their diamonds though…

The prices are too good to be true…to an extent. I looked into buying from them at one point but the prices worried me. Dug deeper and found out the reason their diamonds are so incredibly cheap is because a majority of their stock is of incredibly poor quality. Yeah, you’ll get a diamond at a huge discount. But you’ll also be getting a diamond of I2 or I3 quality. The minority were VS stones. If that doesn’t bother you – buy away, they are a legit company and the prices are amazing. But if the stone quality is a concern, I’d really watch out what you are buying or look elsewhere.

Well we bought my ring from zales and the quality is only a little bit better than the rings on pompeii3 and it’s much smaller for around the same prices as some bigger diamonds on Pompeii. Hmmph I’m kinda disappointed now that I didn’t get such a good deal!

@Princess bee: I’ve been wondering the same thing because their prices on hammered white gold wedding bands can’t be beat but that makes me worry that perhaps that’s because they’re not legit….

You don’t have to “dig deeper” to find the quality of the diamomds as if they’re hiding it. You just have to click on a ring you like and the info pops up plain as day for you to see carat, color, clarity etc.
You also need to remember that lost of retail stores have 100% markup on diamonds. So of course when you see a place that isn’t savagely ripping all the money from your pockets you’ll be a little suspicios. Like if you only dated horrible jerks then found a guy that seemed genuinely nice you’d be a bit cautious and all “hmmmm what’s he really after?”. It’s natural.

you should look them up on ebay.com and check out their reviews i was going to buy a setting from them and their communication is great but i ended up going with a local jeweler instead.

I bought a black diamond center stone halo from them and I am very happy with the quality. However, my center stone is black so it does not show inclusions or color problems.

We got hubby’s wedding ring from here – beautiful and we love it!

My husband got mine there and I love it. We couldn’t justify a ton on a ring and this is exactly what I wanted perfectly: http://www.pompeii3.com/p-669-73ct-three-stone-diamond-ring-14k-white-gold.aspx
The only thing is the side stones are about the same size as the middle and the middle is smaller than shown, unlike how they show it, but I like it better that way.
He got it apraised at a local dealer and they said it was actually .75 and everything checked out about exactly how they said it was. The only inclusion it has is very small and you have to be looking all the way sideways, it’s right beside the bottom prong, so no one ever sees it.

rememeber that they have a 30 day return policy if you buy from their website. I agree with PPS that they’re hit and miss with the quality and sometimes you just have to see it in person.

I just ordered a wedding band from them…we’ll see how it goes. It appears that most of their diamonds are low quality, but that generally doesn’t matter when you’re talking about tiny stones in a pave setting. I would be concerned about buying a centerstone with that kind of quality, though.
Their return policy is good, though, and they have some rings available on amazon, too, so you would be covered by their policies if you ended up being unhappy with your purchase.
It’s worth a shot! Just make sure you look at & understand the specs before ordering 🙂
(FWIW, their prices were only a tad lower than the diamond wholesaler I went through for my ring, and he has to pay overhead that online companies don’t have to deal with, so I don’t think their deals are too good to be true)
