Photo one… veil looks like it matches well enough (ignore the worried face)
Photo where the color is off (now ignore the funky skirt as the petticoat was falling off lol)
If you notice in the second picture the back half of the dress in the mirror is a also dingier looking than the front of the dress, so I am thinking it is the lighting making the veil look dark. What are you all’s thoughts?
Did I mention I can’t wait to get this fitted so I can finally see what it will look like for real??????????????

I would assume that it is the lighting. Otherwise, the coloring would be “off” in the first picture as well.
BTW, gorgeous gown and veil!

I don’t think it’s the veil, but I’m also not 100% sure what you’re seeing. If you’re looking at the left side of the second picture, it does looke like the feil is darker than the skirt of the dress, but I think that’s just because you can see through it and there are darker things reflected behind it. I think natural light will be your best bet for judging if the color is the same, but I think it’s fine.
P.S. Even with the worried face and the petticoat falling out, you still look GORGEOUS in this dress!

I don’t think it’s an issue. Honestly I’m not really sure that I’m seeing what you’re seeing. The veil is netting, so it is somewhat transparent, so it is going to show what’s behind it. Almost all veils are like this. If you don’t like that, you could get a closer weave to the veil. But I think the veil looks great. I don’t think it looks dingy at all, just like a semi-transparent veil.

No, it looks great! Beautiful dress, btw.

Thanks y’all. I never thought I would get so many compliments when I bought this dress. I always expected backlash for going princessy!
And I didn’t take the transparency of the veil into consideration. We ordered the veil in ivory bc the diamond white looked too bright compared to the mega layers of tulle in the skirt. From you all’s feedback I feel like it isn’t a big deal even if it is slightly darker. I am still thinking it is the lighting though.

When you are looking at pictures that aren’t white balanced in very poor lighting, it’s hard to tell much of anything. I don’t see anything wrong – I think you are over analyzing!

Definitely no problems here!

I also just noticed in the 1t mean muggin’ photo: the girl in the dress in the background… her dress looks completely different color in the mirror as well..
