@Adrienne_renee:  That’s a very tiny budget for a Saturday wedding in the perimeter. You’re either going to have to increase your budget significantly or look outside of the city. Other option is to see if someone has a private home you can rent.

DH’s cousin is getting married at a conservatory in Acworth. I don’t know how it fits in your budget though.

@Adrienne_renee:  This may not allow you the outdoor-indoor, same location option, but have you looked into buying out restaurants?  It’s really the most economic thing to do for several reasons:

    1. there is normally no actual rental fee – most are based on a minimum spend, meaning you just have to spend a set amount, or more, on food and drinks from the restaurant.
    2. If you shop around to find one that suits your style, and the style/theme/etc of your wedding, you’ll need fewer decorations – we’re hardly doing anything at ours.
    3. You will not need to rent tables, chairs, etc.  You may not need table linens, either because the venue has them, or the tables are nice and you don’t want them.  You shouldn’t need chair covers, as they’ll have nice looking chairs, most likely. You won’t have to rent dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc.
    4. The number of vendors you have to deal with is drastically reduced.
    5. If you do any day other than Friday or Saturday, or do it during the day time on a Friday or Saturday (so they can still open for dinner afterwards) you might be really surprised at how low the minimum spend is.  Basically, you just have to guarantee them whatever they would, on average, make in regular sales during the time you have the private event.

Most restaurants will do these; you just need to talk to the manager.  It’s so, so, easy and can save you a LOT of money, in many cases.  Our dream venue, that we decided was too expensive in the end, could easily have held 150 people, and had a minimum spend of $10,000 for a Saturday night – and it is a high end bar in a part of downtown Vancouver with a lot of night life.  We decided on a place that was smaller, and to limit our guest list to 80, so we could stay with the Saturday, and, still at a nice, higher-end bar, our minimum spend is $3000.  And all of that money goes toward our food and drink.  If you were having a cash bar, for example, you wouldn’t even be paying all of it, necessarily!

I’ve seen some places around that area before.  I’ll do a search tomorrow if I can.

@Adrienne_renee:  Oh sorry, I was just going by the title of your post. 🙂

Have you thought about something like maybe chateau elan or one of those package places where they can do everything for 1 set fee? You can google them, they’re like all-inclusive venues outside of the perimeter.

Maybe Pristine Chapel, Merle Conferece Center, Oakhurst farms,  some of the local country clubs.

These are just a few that I thought of immediatly due to a couple of my current brides I am working with are using them.

I had my baby shower at a venue just west of Atlanta. It was in a Beautiful Southern Home with a huge ballroom that could hold 200+ people and tables, chairs and linens are included. Space for an outside wedding and an indoor reception. They were very reasonably priced and the owners were great to work with. You could have a beautiful wedding there with your budget.  https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bullock-Springs-Manor/35424836763

@Adrienne_renee:  Check out The Solarium in Decatur. I believe they have indoor/outdoor wedding options and are very affordable! It was a place we almost looked at. Our budget is around $6,000 so we feel your pain!

YES! There is an all inclusive venue in Atlanta. The only thing is you will have to provide your flowers and entertainment. My husband and I got married in April at the Vecoma at the Yellow river and it was amazing! we spent JUST OVER 10k on the wedding and it was perfect and beautiful. Check it out. make sure you go in and look at the place they just totally renovated their ceremony site and it is stunning. Make sure you tell them you heard about it from Danielle. I tell everyone I can about the place. also check out their FB page for recent pictures. http://vecoma1.com/ Here are pictures from my wedding on their page https://www.facebook.com/vecomaweddings/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10153629756869227
