I’ve neglected this one. While I’ve talked to some people on Etsy, I was still hoping that I could get a better deal but it is so hard to determine from the online vendors (wedding paper divas, etc.) which will be a good quality and how to match papers, etc.
We have a tight budget and I am very proud of having found great deals this weekend on the shoes and jewelry I’ll wear for the wedding. I want to make a smart decision regarding invitations. I was hoping to spend about 4 per invitation but haven’t found anything around that price.
Any advice is appreciated.

I think Minted invites are 25% off today. I used Minted for my STD’s and was impressed with the quality, I would buy from them again

I’ve received minted invites — they are lovely.
We ordered ours on Friday from paperless post paper for 35% off. they were cheaper than minted and wedding paper divas thanks to the sale. They’ve already been produced and shipped, I believe.
ETA: Warmest35 is the promo code and includes free shipping.
We ordered 80 of each — STDs, invites, response cards, and thank you cards with pre-addressed envelopes for everything for just more than $500. Flat printed for speed, with an Oscar de la Renta pattern for class 😉

You can buy credit on minted for 25% off and make your decisions later. Think I am going to do that. Got their sample pack and really like their stuff.

Minted is 25% off (code 25CM), ends tonight.
Wedding Paper Divas is 30% off (code CYBER30) which lasts through 12/9.
LCI Paper has a range from 20% and up, depending on what you get (they have straight-up regular clearance invites, and then a Cyber Monday sale that depends on how much you spend – code at the top of the page).
Vistaprint is up to 60% off (code BESTDEALS), ends tonight.
Zazzle is 20% off all products (code ZAZCYBER2014), and even more % off on some other products, ends tonight.
And if you search “wedding invitations” most places have some sale going on today. For example, I’ve never heard of this store before, but Ann’s Bridal Bargains currently has a 20% off sale with free ground shipping (code BLACKFRIDAY).

This is useful. Thanks for the tips!

vistaprint extended their deal until tomorrow due to the high response on the offer. I just ordered my invites from them. The service was outstanding. They basically customized an invitation for me that existed in their templates, but not in the color combo that I wanted. I’ve heard that their envelopes are flimsy, but I found an envelope site where I can get 100 for 16.95. They also have metallics, translucent, etc. http://www.envelopemail.com

LoveMyBrit: Did you mean 12/9 for Wedding Paper Divas? I found a template I really like but would like to request a sample or at least work on it with the groom before ordering.

Anyone have suggestions on where to get envelopes? I was planning to order from vistaprint, but I need an A2 and an A7, and they only have the A2.

SilverWire: I got my envelopes from LCI paper, I really love them! They have A2 and A7 (same as what I ordered).
MuseForever: Yes, 12/9 is correct if their website is to be believed: http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com/promo/wedding-paper-divas-coupon-codes-promotions.htm

MuseForever: Use their offer code FREETRY when you order, it’s a code for 8 free stationery samples!

MuseForever: Just a FYI, you can buy now from WPD to get the sale price, but put your order on hold. I did that to secure their Memorial Day sale prices and bought ALL my wedding stationery back in May — invitations, enclosure cards, programs, everything — put the order on hold, and am releasing things as we go. I use their Live Chat and they’ve been super helpful.
