The Chicago board is pretty active, for a local board; the GR/Holland/Muskegon/Kzoo board, not so much :/

Thanks superstitions! I am glad I am not alone! I currently live about 6 hours away so planning a wedding in South Bend is going to be very difficult, I am hoping to find other brides in the area for suggestions and input so I won't have to waste a lot of time jumping from place to place on the few visits I will get back to the bend! :)

Hi Shellybeth. I'm 3 hours away and planning our wedding that's taking place in La Porte at Heston Hills. (nice place by the way). So I'm the same way. I'm looking for vendors closer to Valparaiso since that's where my fiance and his family live.

I'm a Wisconsin bride, but I went to school in the Michiana area, going back this weekend actually to visit friends! I miss South Bend! (I went to school at Andrews University, but I don't expect you to have heard of it, lol, no one has.)

Leprechaun April 9, 2011 Dayton, OH (wedding in South Bend, IN)

I'm a South Bend bee--planning a ND wedding from Boston! It is definitely a pain not living in the area. We are flying out next weekend to (hopefully) book a reception venue, and will probably have to fly out a few more times between now and the wedding. We're hoping to combine at least one of those trips with a football game, though.
