Have you considered lowering the price? That might do the trick!

You could just wear the dress….

Are you sure it’s that bad? Could you alter it in some way to make it look like more of what you want?

I have had the same problem. My orginal dress cost $450, I’ve advertised it as low as $200 and it still won’t sell. It’s sitting in my closet πŸ™

You could donate it and get the tax deduction?  Not as good as cash in hand from selling, but at least it’s something.

you can try selling it on consignment instead, where you get a portion of the sale price. I dropped my gown off at a store that give me %50 of the sale price… it usually sells faster at a place like that because people can actually try the gown on.

Ive sold 2 gowns (1 I bought for my courthouse wedding and 1 I bought impulsively) on eBay. 1 for half the price and the other one for the same price I bought it (:

You should try it too.. Or selling it in consignment stores sounds good too

just be patient and keep relisting, folks are busy with family and holidays stress, when that’s over, maybe you’ll get some bites. I have the same issues, although I sold one of my dresses (court house dress) for $5 more than I paid for it-so that was nice. I still have one other that I need to sell (lol, dont ask).I have had a lot of inquiries on craigslist and I also shopped the local resale boutique, although I dont know much abotu that-but might be worth checking out.

@retreadbride: a deduction? is that for giving it to charity? pretty sweet.
