Are there any places like Vistaprint I can get invitations AND RSVP cards cheap?

@marinesfiance:  If you sign up for an account with VP, they constantly email sales! I was just emailed a 50% off coupon for all of their invitations yesterday.

I’m not sure if they are still having a sale– but, about 2 weeks ago I ordered 100 invites, 100 receptions cards, 100 RSVPs, and all the envelopes (inner, outer, RSVP) from David’s Bridal for $132. They had a deal that if you bought your invitations at full price, the extra cards would be 50% off. Even if they aren’t having that sale anymore, it may be a good idea to look around at different sites to see what sales are happening.

@marinesfiance:  I ordered mine through Vistaprint for 50% off. I’d go ahead and sign up for an account and wait for a deal. I ordered mine on 11/16 and they arrived 11/22 so the process was pretty quick.

Another option is to design it yourself or have someone at etsy make a digital file for you and get it printed at a local print shop. I used catprint to print out invitations and they were pretty affordable. They will send you a free sample book of all of the different paper options they offer. There are no order minimums and they will send you a free hard copy proof if you want.

Also, since you are thinking mason jars, I don’t know if you have seen this free printable invitation

I designed my own and will be printing on vistaprint.  I bought the flower images on etsy and did everything else on word. i’ll be printing on vistaprint with a 50% off coupon. The link has other coupons too, but the top one gives me 50% off everything I need (100 invites, rsvps, thank you’s and custom designed envelopes for the invites and rsvps for like $175) and free shipping.  If you add everything to your cart you can click the different codes and then update your cart to see what gives you the best deal.

@marinesfiance:  Awww, that’s too bad! I know I’ve used their free stuff like monograms and tried out some of the other free designs and it worked ok. Maybe try again later, or email them to see if they will fix it?

If you are able to make the free printable work, you basically can save it as a file and send it to any printing company – local, vistaprint (the ‘create your own’ option) or catprint (the one I mentioned above). Then you wouldn’t have to worry about finding paper/printer (color ink can be expensive too). I thought catprint was pretty affordable.

I found that catprint.com has very reasonable rates

@marinesfiance:  Awww man, I wish you had seen my post I posted not even a week ago about Zazzle.com.

I by chance (while searching websites on-line) found out that they were having a crazy holiday sale… 75% (!!) off on invitations or anything paper related. I literally got 100 invitations for $68 bucks, rsvp cards for $60, and “splurged” on cute menu cards for $119 bucks. The menu cards alone I saved $360 on. All three together would have cost $1,000 bucks and I was able to get all 3 or $250! My mom ended up ordering my bridal shower invites for super cheap. Along with my thank you cards for my bridal shower. And I ordered envelope seals and wedding day “thank you” stickers for the favors for 60% off.

The code I used at Zazzle was “ITSWONDERFUL”. I just tried to do a dummy order and use the code to see if it still worked… unfortunately it didn’t… 🙁

@marinesfiance:  OMG the same thing happens to me whenever I try to print out the “bride/groom” vintage chair signs! It’s so annoying! I wish they would fix this glitch on their website. What’s the point of having all of these nice signs that no one can print???

Groupon constantly has deals for vistaprint and you can use it with the retailmenot 50% off. I paid $20 for $60 worth of stuff for my save the dates and got 50 super heavy cardstock cards, 10 magnets, 72 envelope seals and envelopes. I paid $14 for shipping.
