I would say that the shoes are fine especially if you really like them....then go for it! :D Is your dress going to be short or long? Have you already bought the shoes? If so, did you try them on with the dress to see what it looks like? I think if you do that you'll get a better idea of what it would look like together....
Thanks for replying!
My dress is long, so I imagine my feet will be covered most of the time except for when I'm sitting or glimpses here and there. I do really like the shoes.. they look like just the kind that would be comfortable for me. I haven't bought them yet, will have to order online so I was hoping to get some feedback about whether they'd be appropriate first. Guess I'll give them a try...
If you really like them and they look comfortable to you then go for it. Plus what's great about those is you could always wear them again after the wedding!
Not a problem! :D
I would say go ahead and order them, the shoes look great and I see nothing wrong with them at all. So I would agree that they would be appropriate for the wedding.....go ahead and order them and when you get them, try them out with the dress and go from there :D Be sure to take pictures!
Well, I ordered the shoes as well as another pair, and they both arrived today. I think I finally found my shoes! The pair above didn't end up being comfortable after all, but these espadrilles from jcrew did and I think they're adorable! They're on the casual side, but I think they'll work with my dress and outdoor wedding.I got them in Pebble, a cream color.
Just wanted to share! :)

I've been looking for my shoes and needed something really specific.. heels 2 1/4 inches because I can't wear anything higher than that without hurting, and preferably a thicker heel or wedge because the ceremony will be outside. And to top it off I wear a size 5.5 which is kinda hard to find!
I found these as a possible option.. I think they're cute, they're 2 3/4 inches but have a half inch platform (which I love, I could totally use the extra height!) I'm wondering though, is it weird to have a dark heel with an ivory wedding dress?
