I think maybe your image is broken? You could also include a link!

Can’t see the pic.

But regardless, only your BMs can answer that. 3.75inch, even if it’s a wedge heel with platform, will feel high for someone who never wears flats; and chances are yes, they’ll be uncomortable. Personally, I care more about my BMs comfort, and would never ask them to wear shoes that would be uncomfortable for them.

I would suggest that they try them on (or something similar), and give you their honest opinion. If you are adament that they wear heels, then I suggest that you ask them to wear them for the ceremony and photos, but that after that, they can change into flats.

I wear heels on a regular basis, and even I think I’d be uncomfortable in an almost four inch pair of heels.  For someone who doesn’t where heels a lot, I think this is asking a bit much.

I like the idea a PP had about wearing the shoes for photos and then changing into more comfortable shoes if they want!  Smart thinking!

I am a flat wearer, I dont wear heels as they just hurt my feet after 10 mins in them, I definitely could not wear those… An inch heel maybe, wedges may be easier to walk in generally thou the fact they are so high would put strain in the calves and on the balls of the feet (well that’s where I feel it most anyway) and unless they were used to it I think it wold be uncomfortable for them…

I would find those uncomfortable after a few hours; and I wear heels, inc 5-inch stilettos with only a small platform, quite a lot. If they had a platform, I’d think they’d be OK; but still not for all day for someone who’s used to wearing flats. As it is, I seriously think someone completely unaccustomed to heels would struggle with them, and find them painful; so a) they might look stupid walking down the aisle (I cringe when I see people in shoes they clearly can’t walk in, it looks ridiculous) and b) do you really want your BMs to be uncomfortable or in pain?..

I appreciate they can’t try that exact air; but I’m sure they’ll be able to find a 4-inch pair of wedges somewhere that they can try, to get an idea of the height. I ceretainly wouldn’t order them until they’ve OKd it, and I certainly wouldn’t push it if they think they’ll struggle in them.

Also, I don’t see why heels have to = 4 inchs high… What about a small (2.5 inch) wedge? I agree that a small heel usually looks nicer than a flat, as it lengthens and slims the leg and is more aesthetically pleasing; but you can get the same effect with a heel much smaller (and more comfortable) than 4 inches.

As someone who wears flats pretty regularly and can only wear certain types of heels, those wouldn’t work for me. I’d suffer through the ceremony but they’d be coming off immediately following. I don’t know about your girls, but I wouldn’t be thrilled about paying $50 for shoes that I’m going to wear for 20 minutes and never look at again.

I think that wedges would make it much easier for people!  Maybe give them some of those Dr. Scholl’s heels inserts as part of their wedding bag??
