    Personally I don’t like velour track suits, but it really depends on your bridesmaids tastes.

    I’ve never worn a velour track suit before so they’re not for me but it depends on your bridesmaids.

    Personally no, I would not wear a velour track suit. I’d prefer a pedicure  x1 million

    Bridesmaids’ gifts, IMO, should never be anything that is for your wedding and/or your wedding pictures. That said… giving them the tracksuits for pictures is fine but that should not be ANY part of their gift. Would you like it if a wedding gift you received was something that came with strings attached…”you have to use this when I say and for my purposes(i.e. pictures) and, by the way… I gave six other couples the exact same gift.”

    Bridesmaids’ gift should be a thoughtful and unique gift for each girl. Shop for each gift as you would for her birthday.

    I’ve said it before but it kind of saddens me when bridesmaids’ gifts become about the bride and her pctures/her day as opposed to a thoughtful gift that convetys true friendship.

    @Somanychoices:  Are your BMs the kinds of girls who would order these and wear them on their own? I know personally I’d never, ever, wear a velour tracksuit, and I only know one or two people who would. But I’m also a bit older, and this is not really fitting in with the styles and personalities of my friends.

    @MrsBonJovi:  +1000 and this

    is the most truthful and straight forward way I have ever seen it described.

    OP should for them individually like you would for thier birthday.

    I have never, ever worn a velour tracksuit (or a tracksuit in general), so I probably wouldn’t wear it again if my friend gave it to me. However, this depends on your girls.

    Personally, I love velvet and this looks so comfy. Just because they can wear them getting ready doesn’t mean that they are “for the wedding”. They would make comfy PJs or around the house clothes. I don’t know yor BMs but me and my friends would wear them on girls night in.

    I like them but that’s personal taste, it’s a lovely thought but would your bridemaids like them? that’s the important thing.

    I personally would LOVE it. You know your girls better than we do though.
