I'm a 1 dress bride. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on, tried on a bunch of others and nothing came close, so I bought it. And I still love it!
I'm a 1 dress girl. I've had my doubts (and posted about them!) but I really do like my dress and I don't think I'd find a better one out there in my price range. Although, like you ddubzz, if price were no object it'd be a different story!
I'm a 1 dress bride, for the sole reason that after I bought my dress, I stopped looking at other dresses. I'm a "cross things off a list" type person...
Two dresses for me and sooooooooo glad that I followed my gut instinct. I never loved the first one but was feeling the time crunch and bought something that would work "alright." So one month to the date that we were getting married, I went to a sample sale at a bridal salon and the first dress I tried on was THE ONE! I knew it and I loved it. It was the best mistake I've ever made because had I not bought that first one, I may never have found the actual one...
1 dress so far. Keep reminding myself that I don't have the money to be a two dress bride, and to suck it up, even if I'm having doubts...
I voted 3 but that's only because I bought 2 dresses from a sample sale. One of them was the one I ended falling in love with and unfortunately both sample dresses were too big to alter so I sold them both but that's after finding the style that I loved in smaller size. I was so lucky to find the same style in a smaller size. So techinquely I was a 2 dress bride because 2 of the dresses were the same style. hehe
I'm a two dress bride intentionally. I love both of my dresses. I'm wearing one until midnight and then changing into my sexy dress after the fireworks! Best part FI picked the second dress for me.
Im a one dress bride, but came very close to being two dress bride. I decided to suck it up, and deal with it and with the alterations im hoping I will feel alot better about my dress and I had my first fitting the other week and I feel alot more confident about it already :)
Technically I'm a three dress bride - but one of those dress (bought for $80 bucks on Craigslist!) is for my TTD shoot after the wedding!
im a two dress bride. so weird to say but im happy that i change my mind and my second dress is gorgeous
I'm a 1 dress bride, I bought my dress in Feb and not getting married until Aug of 2011. I seen my dress on line and found it on sale...so I went to the store and seen another dress had the store hold it for me took my mom to see the dress and she picked out the very first dress I seen online lol.
So I said this must be the one!!! and have not looked since.
I'm a two dress bride. I started having doubts after my FI saw my dress and didn't like it :(. Then I bought the second one and although I love it, I don't feel like a bride in it. So I have decided to wear my first dress for the ceremony and the second one for the reception.
I got my 1 dress 1 year ago. I love it. Also, I am very happy that dress shopping was over. I love shopping, but wedding dress shopping was not my style.
I bought my one and only dress 13 months before my wedding and have never had any major doubts. I am considering buying another dress for the after party, but this would most likely be just a cute white dress rather than another bridal gown.
3 - I'll be a 4 dress bride if I don't control myself. I'm not indecisive - I just like to have options! Even when packing for vacations I like to have several things to choose from each day.
One. Although there were a few times I was tempted to buy another dress. I'm glad I didn't though, once the original desire to have a different dress wore off, I was always happy I didn't spend the money on a whole other dress. It's just difficult since there are so many beautiful styles of dresses. I love my dress and I'm glad I never strayed or complicated things by getting another one!
1 dress, although I am having second thoughts. I'm going to wear it anyway. I like my dress, I think it's pretty, it's flattering, etc. I just wish I had gone with something more my style. It's way sleeker (and at the same time, sparklier) than anything I normally wear.
One...I have other things I would rather spend money on then another wedding dress. Honestly. Just me.
I only had one dress--once I found it, even though I liked looking at other dresses, I never reconsidered my decision. Also, I loved it so much, I was sad that I was only able to wear it once! There was no way I was taking that baby off!
I have bought the Melissa Sweet Dora without trying it on (I live in Sweden and MS isn't sold here so I bought the dress via a bridal boutique in the US - the dress is a sample). If the dress doesn't suit me or if I for some reason don't like it, I will have to become a two dress bride.
I cross my fingers and hope that it will suit me, and that I will fall in love with the dress as soon as I put it on! I can hardly focus on my work – that’s how excited and nervous I am about this... the woman in the bridal boutique said that she would ship it to day, if so, the dress will arrive on Friday!
My backup dress is either Watters Austin or a custom made one. I haven’t tried on the Austin either, for the same reason as mentioned above.
One dress for me. I've seen other dresses since purchasing mine that I think I would have liked too... but I like what I have and can't wait to wear it :)
One dress only though I really wasn't 100% on it. I just didn't do anything about it.

With all these posts about people being 2+ dress brides, I'm wondering how many bees out there bought multiple wedding dresses. And how many actually just bought 1 and that's it.
I'm on the 1-dress boat. I bought my dress 10 months before my wedding and I haven't had any doubts. I still look at other dresses (it's hard not to on the WB!), but I've never let myself go out and try on dresses again. I guess it's because I'm very practical and I can't imagine spending more money on something I already have. Also, I think I got a great deal on my dress and I believe there's no better dress out there at the price I paid. If I had an uncapped budget, that would be another story.
So, what are you? A 1, 2, 3, or 4 dress bride? :)
