A thread about vacuums (haha!) got some of us wondering what the ratio of dog:cat people is on the Bee! OR if you're a 'neither' or an 'other' pet person, share, please! :)
For the record, I'm all dog ;) Wait, I'm not personally a dog, I'm a dog-person...eeks haha.
I'm s dog person! I like other people's cats but I have a hard time with the litter box/shedding that comes along with them. This is my lil Sgt Pepper all ready to go Trick or Treating! :)
Ahhh! I love the pictures! :D Keep 'em coming!!! They make me want to do a little photo-shoot with my babies today :)
I'm a big-time dog person. Cats are cute from a distance but I'm kind of allergic so I have never really gotten into them.
Both! I'm more of animal person that a human person, hehe. I have a special fondness for Persian cats so that's what I've always had, but other people's dogs melt my heart too.
BOTH!!! I <3 both. FI and I only have cats right now but I would love to have a bulldog. I bug him nearly every day about one.
I voted other, because I am definitely both... I'm a dog and cat person.
FI and I currently have one dog and two cats, they are all characters.

@Miss Marine: how cute!! I love dogs in costumes, my boy LOVES to wear clothes, even though he's 55lbs!
I'm a big time dog person. I like cats but don't love them - and Im highly allergic so I can't touch them.

@Future Mrs. Martin: Your pups are gorgeous! I would never have guessed that Cody is 15!! Beautiful hair...oh my gosh I just want to snuggle with both of them! :)

@KansasPrincess11: if you can i'd switch the current "other" to "both" and create a new other... since that seems to be why people voted "other"...
I voted both because I have both, but overall I would say I am probably more of a dog person. My cat is less like a cat and more like a dog with raccoon abilities to get into EVERYTHING. My dog AND cat can both open the closet doors, open the kitchen cabinets, and open the refrigerator. So fun....lol.
@KansasPrincess11: He wasn't 15 in this pic - he was about 11! He lived for 15 years and past this past December :-(

@Future Mrs. Martin: Oh I'm so sorry! :( I dread that day so much. Truly. My hubs and I talk about what we'll do and he knows he has to be the one to take care of everything because I will be a wreck. Total. Wreck. I'm so sorry :(
I'm a both girl. I have a puppy and kitties. My pup just went to the vet for her first puppy shot visit and our vet came in and looked at the pup and was like, "Wait, I know you. But your kitty people, what are you doing here with a dog", it was really funny. I love our vet.
@KansasPrincess11: It truly was devastating. But it helps when you know that it truly is time. And it helps when you get a new puppy within a month to keep you smiling :-)
I voted other, because I love both cats and dogs, buuuut, I've always felt more 'connected' to kitties. All furbabies induce the 'squeeeeeee' reaction in me, though 
@Future Mrs. Martin: Puppies really do have that ability! Our Lab looks just like Marley on Marley & Me (and sometimes ACTS like Marley...) and I read the book and my dumbass watched the movie too. I'm a big ball of mush when it comes to dogs.
@Shiner: hahah "racoon abilities". That sounds like you have your hands full over there!!
I am more of a cat person, but I love both cats and dogs. We have 2 cats now, Buddy and Odie, and as soon we get a house with a yard we are planning on getting a dog (or two!) I can't wait.
I voted other. I love dogs, and am not so crazy about cats, but currently don't have either.
I am a dog person. But all dogs are different. Some dogs are just dogs (my lab that would realize he was going to the bathroom once he was going) and other dogs are standoffish and independant.
My German Shorthair is not very dog-like. I like both types of dogs.
I am totally a cat person, though I like some dogs (small and medium-sized dogs--big ones and/or dogs that slobber excessively freak me out).

Me too! I grew up with a beloved shelter mutt and always thought I was a dog person. But we can't have a dog in our current apt, so we got a rescue kitten (now cat), and I love her soooo much! I would love to have a dog someday too. Especially since it turns out I have (relatively mild) cat allergies, so getting a second cat is out of the question.
As a kid, I was definitely a dog person. As an adult though, I prefer cats.
Dogs! I love me some puppies. I do like cats as well, but Im allergic... they make my eyes swell up. Not fun.

Dog person, these are my fur babies last night while I was chatting on WB.
I play for both teams. I currently have 2 cats. We can't be good dog parents right now but I'm happy to love on other people's.

I love both (: FI and I have our own cat because it would be too much work to have a dog right now, but my childhood dog is still alive and I spend as much time as possible with her when I come home on weekends!
