My name is Lori, and I’m a matchaolic.
Everything must match for me. Bra and panties (even if I am the only one to see them!). Finger and toenail polish. Purse and shoes. Even the metals / stones in my jewelry has to match. If anything is out of whack, matching-wise, it preoccupies and bugs me like crazy.
I’m kind of the same way about my home decor.
I’m kind of compulsive about it. LOL
Anyone else? How important is it to you that things match, not just for your wedding but in everyday life?

Me <–not a matchaholic. It would stress me out WAAAAY too much!!!
In real life I like things to look very put together. I’m super uptight about it. But for my wedding, i want "The look" but not the matchy matchy. 6 bridesmaids is too intense if they all match!

I’m wearing BROWN shoes and a BLACK sweater. Take that, matchaholics!! (Stacy London says it’s okay, so it must be!)

I’m the opposite! I like this to coordinate but really can’t stand a matchy matchy look. Everyone keeps asking what my color theme is for the wedding and I have to politely explain that while I’ll be having blue and champagne accents, I’m not looking for a whole matched look.

I am obsessive with our house matching… When we were renovating our bathroom, Mr. Dan bought BRONZE fixtures when everything else was chrome!
Major fight ensued.

Lori and I discussed this earlier – I am NOT a matchaholic as shown in my grey shoes/black belt/black handbag combo I’m rockin’ today.

In terms of house items– it should definitely match. When we re-did our house, we were careful to match the color of the doorknobs within t he rooms to the accessories- meaning brushed silver door handles to go with brushed silver bathroom faucets and toilet flushers. 🙂 And chrome with chrome and so on.
But in terms of clothes, I’m not too crazy about it. I’m a semi-matchaholic. Brown should always be worn with blue, not black. And gray should go with black. I wear a brown belt with brown shoes, and a black belt with black shoes.
I try to coordinate as much as possible.
But my under-things don’t ever coordinate. And nor does my nail polish– I change my fingernail polish way more than my toenail polish. 🙂
