I feel best at night and have the most energy. I think that also causes my insomnia. I don’t really ever get much sleep though because my DH is an early bird as is my son and they wake me up at 8am when I fell asleep at 4am. lol

Night owl and I don’t sleep, lol. I usually go about 48 hours or so between each time I go to sleep but I have a sleep disorder that causes me to be wonky like that.

Even if I didn’t have that issue, I’m a huge night owl. My peak is around 1am-2am. Unfortunately, the rest of the world isn’t really on that schedule, ahahaha.

@greenidlady:  yep I’m fine. It does take me a good half hour to wake up completely in the morning though and I don’t have a super amount of energy until late afternoon, just enough to do what I need to before 3pm. Then my big boost of energy coming around 10pm.

Night owl but only because DH is one, and I like staying up to hang out with him.

@greenidlady:  yeah I take my DH to work at 7 get my son off to school at 8:30 and then get home at 9 where I get online or watch tv. I don’t even get a shower or eat until lunch time then by 3 I’m off picking the guys up again and my energy bursts. lol

Definitely a night owl. Even when I was younger. In fact, in my efforts to ‘stay awake during the day like a normal person’ yesterday, I fell asleep around 8pm and woke up about 10 mins ago. Looks like I’ll be going back to my weird schedule…..wonder if people would get upset at an 8pm wedding….LOL

Night owl by nature AND an early bird, but definitely not by choice.

It’s 2:16 here and I could easily go for another hour or two. But then DD will wake me up at 7:30 and I’ll be zombie-mom for the next several hours.

@greenidlady:  Nope, I tend to do better as I approach the end of the first day and am into the second. I do fizzle out towards the end of the night on day 2 when it comes to being foggy-brained and stuff, though. One of the main problems caused by the sleep disorder I have (DSPD) is it extends my circadian cycle to way past the normal 24 hour circadian cycle that most people have.

I don’t ALWAYS stay up for 48 hours or so, but I do probably twice a week, so 4 days out of a week. 😐

It depends. I go through terrible insomnia spells where I can’t sleep until my body literally craps out on me, during this time I tend to be a night hour.. staying up ALL day and night until around 6 am. Otherwise, I’m usually up by 8 am, which isn’t early, but it’s early enough!

I work night shift as a nurse, so I voted “Night owl but not by choice”. If I could, I would rather be an early bird.
