Hmm, I do love both - my bridal earrings are diamonds in an antique setting with a drop pearl. :)
i have a diamond chain with freshwater pearl necklace and pearl drop earings with white topaz i actually got emotional about the jewelery and im not much of a girly girl. =]
total pearl girl. i love my engagement ring, but i'm the girl who wears pearls at least 4-5 times a week 
even with casual outfits, i'm likely rocking the pearl earrings.
i could probably open my own mikimoto pearl store.
I was neither until FI got me a BEAUTIFUL pearl necklace for Christmas. I am seriously in love with it. I same Miss Argyle post the other day about how she is never without her pearls - I can see why now, they are just soooo classy!
I'm more for sparkly, so I'm going to go with diamonds! I've never really been a pearl girl ;]
I wear pearls with everything. Pretty much every day. The simple strand I wear with shorts and t-shirts is the same one I wore on my wedding day.
I've never really been either - but I just bought a double strand of pearls for the wedding, that I think could be dressed up or down!
But I'm more of a - throw on whatever is currently in my ring/jewerly holder that makes me look put together. ;)
I LOVE both .... but I'm wearing pearls for my wedding. But I rock my pearl studs with my diamond necklace and diamond engagement ring every day!
Love both. I'm not too much of a "blingy" person though. I like simple, understated, delicate pieces. I'm not one to wear sparkly chandelier earrings, blingy necklace, and cuff for example.
I have pearls and NEVER wear them. Just not a pearl girl, I think...

bling, bling for me! i would have worn pearls, but decided that I wanted an open neck and chandelier style diamond earings with my dress. if pearls would have worked, I would have purchased them for sure though!

Must confess, I am a diamond girl :) Don't get me wrong, I would love some nice pearls too but I just tend to gravitate toward the bling.
I adore pearls, I have heaps of pearl jewellery that I wear all the time! But my dress was too white for pearls - all natural pearls looked creamy yellow against it. My dress was beaded with lots of crystals so I went with crystal jewellery, but I love pearls for brides in general.
I like both but tend to have more diamonds than pearls. I have a couple of pearl items but after my jeweler said that I need to be careful with my pearl ring I kinda quit wearing it because I'm nervious about breaking it.
Diamond and pearl. Was not a pearl girl until now. Now I just think they are so feminine. Bought my girls pearl and looks like I'm sticking with diamond for wedding.
Pearls, definitely. The only time I want diamonds (or any colorless stone) is for accenting something with a bit more personality.
I would definitely say a simple diamond pair of stud earrings or a diamond drop necklace is the way to go for me. I used to love the idea of black Tahitian pearls, but my tastes have changed dramatically.
I love diamonds, but I've always wanted a set of pearls. My mom just bought me a beautiful (and expensive) set and I plan on wearing them for the wedding!
I'm making my own jewellery. Pearls for me. I didn't like pearls until recent years.
