I want to cut my hair after the wedding. Not just because I want to do something different. but I want to give my hair a fresh start from chemical treatments and processes. Have any of you done this? If so, do you have any before or after pics? I am posting a few of my Post-Wedding Hair Inspiration Photos… SInce we aren’t going to the honeymoon until a few days after the wedding I am thinking of doing before hand… Less hair to wash the sea salt out of lol
Below is a picture of my actual Hair after I dyed it chestnut brown–ignore the goofy looking smile, I had just gotten my braces the day before… it was the only way to smile through the pain 😛

Who is that in the second picture? Or the last one? (not you, of course, haha)
I love that bob with no bangs. My stylists can’t seem to get that I don’t want bangs. I think I need a picture to show them, haha.
ETA: I love having short hair – you should chop yours! It’s so much easier to maintain, in my experience!

I have very long hair, to my butt, and while I love it it’s not very practical! I definitely want it long for my wedding day, but I plan on chopping it super short shortly after I am married so that I can experience what very short hair is like.

The second picture is Keira Knightly (Pirates of the Caribbean) and the last one is Rihanna (Umbrella)

I like my long hair….but I might just go ahead and DYE it after the wedding!!! Which I’ve never done, maybe go blonde!!!

@DeathByDesign: I am really really digging the pixie cut of your second picture… I don’t know if I could go that short, but I think the style is HOT!

@lwilliams107: thanks 🙂 I’m pop culture illiterate, haha

I can’t wait to cut my hair after the wedding! We’re going to the Caribbean for our honeymoon so it will be nice not to have masses of heavy wet hair whenever I go swimming.
My hair is waist-length now, and buggin the hell out of me. I grew it out because I couldn’t envision myself in a wedding dress with short hair. But I will be going back to my old pixie cut as soon as humanly possible once I’m married 🙂

@linguo42: I feel the same! Only my hair was never pixie… although I’ve given it thought I think I will get a razor cut bob…. the last thing I want on my honeymoon is a head full of hair to blowdry and straighten after every dip in the pool

I know this thread is old but what the heck. 😛
My hair on our wedding day:
Here it is straight so you can get a better idea of the length (this was on new years weekend, we got married on December 11th, so maybe a little longer than our wedding day if at all.)
My hair now (a bit longer though, around 2 inches longer.) Its growed out some.
I also dyed it darker, more my natural color. I think I am going to go back to a dark brown though, because my roots come in way to fast now. :/

I am totally going to chop all my hair off after the wedding. I am also thinking about getting some bangs. I haven’t had bangs since I was in junior high, it might be nice to try them again…

I can’t wait to do the post-wedding chop! My hair was past boob length, but the ends were getting BAD, so I cut off ~3 inches. It’s now mid-boob length (for lack of a better term LOL! sorry!)…
After the wedding, I’m doing THIS:

Yes absolutely! I actually can’t wait!

I want to go tommorow. I think I’m gonna use your first pic as inspiration.

I’m not going to cut mine, but I’m going to stop dying it after the wedding. I am sick of paying for it to be dyed but I don’t want it half grown out for wedding pics…luckily I have lots of low lights so I think it’ll grow out nicely =D
