I’m going to to it. I haven’t really thought about it, but I want to do it.

I’m not doing it, just because it’s one more thing I have to think about, and it wasn’t a priority for me. Plus, we’re nixing a lot ofg other traditions as well.

I haven’t really been thinking about it or planning for it – but it seems like my mom/FMIL/aunts all have been!  I keep getting offers to use different jewelry and they keep suggesting different things I could do to count for each.  It’s sweet of them, but I don’t have a clue where the tradition came from so I’m not really attached to making sure I execute it 🙂

I feel like borrowed is going to be so hard.  I dont really have anything I want to borrow!

i love this tradition, here’s mine:

old: pearl earings from my grandfather who passed away

    new: dress of course!

    borrowed: mom’s veil

blue: haven’t decided, either garter or underware!

    I’ve been thinking about this.

    • Old-I think I’m going to carry my rosary from my First Communion. That was about 25 years ago so I think it qualifies.
    • New-Dress, veil, shoes
    • Blue-Garter (maybe) Blue toenails (maybe) underwear (maybe)
    • Borrowed-I’m stumped on the borrowed.

I did do this.  My things were:

    Old: My Grandpa’s hankerchief

    New: Dress

    Borrowed: Earrings

Blue: My University of Michigan garter (Go Blue!!)

I am trying to do this, but still struggling!  I happen to have my mom’s garter, which is old, blue, and borrowed!  Is this cheating?

if your really stumped on the blue, i’ve heard that people stitch a little blue bow on the inside hem of the dress. that would count!

I did but only because I had all 4 easy at hand. borrowed: jewelry, blue: right hand ring, new: dress, duh, old: more jewelry

I wouldn’t have done it if it stressed me out at all tho!

if i do, it’ll be purely by accident.
