@LadyBlackheart:  Awww that’s sweet! And I bet your haircut is adorable!

FH does cute things all the time but it always melts my heart. Last night he took the polish off of my toes for me so I didn’t mess up my fingernails πŸ™‚

Your Boyfriend or Best Friend is so sweet!  Lucky girl!

I made the same mistake of cutting my hair too short, too.  OMG, I was horrified!  What made it worse was we were on our way to our honeymoon so my honeymoon pics have my Dora-the-Explorer hair.  It didn’t suit my face at all! I know your pain.

Darling Husband sent me a sweet message this morning.  He is so sarcastic sometimes that I forget he can be really sweet.

@s2bmrscook:  Stop it: I *have* to tell my Boyfriend or Best Friend about this. When I did my nails last friday (after the leprchaun green incident), I forgot to do my toes first and managed to coerce him into taking my polish off for me. I was on FB on my phone while he was doing it and he looks up and says “you better not be posting a pic of me doing this on FB!!” :-p

@LadyBlackheart:  That is super sweet, but I bet he’s right: your hair probably still looks great πŸ™‚

Darling Husband went out of his way to bring home breakfast for me this morning even though he had been up all night on a busy twelve hour shift. I didn’t ask him to do it, and he didn’t even get anything for himself! He told me, “I just asked myself what would make my wife happy and make her smile?”…Awwwwww!

Like you, I have never had a SO treat me as amazingly as my current and that’s why I plan on keeping him!!

I could write a book on the kind and sweet things that he does for me and I have vowed to not ever take advantage of how lucky I am to have such a fantastic man in my life.  I’m so thankful that his ex DID take advantage of it or else I might have never met him.  Her loss is my gain and I have seen for myself that she has regrets.

I have to get going but I’ll come back to share some of those sweet things!

Alright.. I’m back.  For reference, we have been together for 9 months and have lived together for 3.

I am NOT a morning person.  On mornings that he is awake before me, he will run the kettle for me so that when I go down to make my tea, I only have to wait a minute for it to heat up fully.  Or, if he has even more time, he will have my tea steeping while I get ready for work.  So while we might not have much time to talk before we part ways, I still get a reminder of how much he loves me.

He is such a gentleman.  I must go through doors before him, he will race ahead to open them for me.  When he knows I’m uncomfortable (ie. in the presence of his ex who remains in the same circle) he will put his arm around me or something comparable to comfort me and if I’m really uncomfortable, he will ask me to find out what would make me feel better.

It really is the little things…..  for the record, it’s a two way street πŸ™‚

My Darling Husband is very sensitive and sentimental. I sometimes wish I could be as sensitive, but my brothers taught me to be a tomboy. We got married May 3 and he cried almost the WHOLE ceremony. He cried and I couldn’t keep from laughing. I secretly wished I could cry, but I’m not much of a crier. He does most (85%) of the cooking and cleaning, plus yard work and I supervise. Whenever I try to do things, he takes over and tells me to relax.

Last weekend we had a little disagreement and I was giving him the silent treatment. He came into the living room, grabbed my hands and said we needed to pray. When he thinks I’m worried or stressed, we’ll go on walks around the neighborhood.

Fishing is our past time even though I don’t touch the worms or fish, but he’ll always stop and help me out. I’ve caused him to loose quite a few catfish LOL He goes to work between 5:30 and 6:30, but when he has extra time, he’ll cook me pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. He’s a big teddy bear and I love him so much!!!

My Fiance is always planning surprises for me. Really cool stuff that I love. I am so thankful, I just wish I was better at planning out surprises for him!
