I have a giant size bridal party. What's the best way to travel? I can't stand the limo Hummer. Yuck.

does your area have a trolley rental?  I was in a wedding where we all rode in a trolley that they rented for the day.  It was fun and different.

We are getting a limo bus because I felt the same way you did about the limo SUV/hummers.   I was in 3 weddings last summer and in each one we were crammed into SUV limos. I also found it uncomfortable climbing into the limo in a short dress and heels!  We wanted everyone to be comfortable so we decided to go with the 20-22 person limo bus!

Mind, I'm in Europe so these may be easier to come across, but I rented a vintage double decker english bus for mine.  They redid the inerior so it's more luxurious than a regular bus.  It's awesome.

Our limo company is renting a nice party bus (kinda like a shuttle).  It will fit all of us and we don't have to duck into a limo.  We will have nice stairs we can walk up to get into the bus.

we're not doing any transportation, we dno't have a really large bridal party, but we don't have the money for pay for it. My mom said it's not rude, and our attendants will understand.

We booked a vintage red trolley.  It seats 35, so there's plenty of room for wedding party and their dates.  I didn't like the party bus, and I couldn't find a limo big enough that wasn't an SUV, or that I could afford.  I got so desperate I even called about a boat!  Luckily we came up with a better option at the last minute.

We didn't do a Hummer limo but we did do an SUV limo.  Cars were a little too small and the party bus makes me a little motion sick.  Plus, a few of the ones we looked at smelled awful.

We are doing the limo/party bus with the stairs it looks like a limo on the inside though, it should be super roomie and comfortable.  Not as asthetically pleasing but oh well, comfort is important.

I say they should drive themselves lol.  I think we are renting a larger car (FI drives solstice and there is no way my dress will fit int hat car lol) but it's just for the two of us.  You don't have to provide them with transportation.

we are having a standard town-car style limo that seats 10 since our wedding party (including me and FI) is only 8 people.  And we are only using the limo to get from the ceremony venue to the reception venue to keep the wedding party together during that time and so we can stop for some photos on the way.

We're not doing any transportation.  Granted our ceremony & reception are in the same place but I'm not wasting money on a limo.  I know most girls can't wait for that but to us it's just extra expenses.  Our hotel is 2 minutes away and not worth it.  Everyone is just going to have to get themselves there.  My mom, aunts etc will drive everyone over in the morning and I'm not responsible for people getting home.  They're big kids w/spouses, boyfriends, SUVs etc.

we're getting an escalade or 300c limo, but our bridal party is only 12 ppl including FI and me.

i def suggest getting a party bus if you have a lot of ppl. they're cheaper and bigger too!

totally worth it, we took one to our prom and also for a bday party bar crawl... totally a blast! :P

We've got 8 on each side in our bridal party - that makes 16. 18 with us too. I want to be with them. It'll be more fun anyway.

I loved the idea of a Trolley but the 1 in our area was booked and others that are in drving distance were way too $$$ for the small time we need it.

We're getting a large party bus. It seats 26 and has a small bathroom in the back. I might get 2 smaller towncars for parents, but I think they'll want to drive since the church is up the street from my parents home (we're walking if it's nice weather) and they're staying in the hotel 15min away. I'll ask them 1st. FMIL & FFIL have a say too but my guess is they'll choose the same.

Ok so we met with a transportation company. They said they can fit 10 max in a limo, 15 max in an Escalade limo and 20+ in a party bus .. still havent met anyone with a trolley bus. I do not want to get smooshed getting in and out of a low riding car like a limo but FI is pushing for it. He doesnt understand how hard it's going to be for me and the BM's .. has anyone had a good experience in a limo. Our bridal party plus us equals 10 people.

We decided not to coordinate transportation and it worked out better for everyone. FH and  I had a car service transport us (no getting down into a low limo, or up into a giant one). But we took pics at the reception site and hotels, church, and reception were all super close.

I agree with having trouble getting in and out of a limo which is why I REALLY wanted the party bus.  Our other option is to just have everyone carpool/drive themselves.
