Yes... going all out, and it's going to kinda hurt financially, but it's a once-a-lifetime event! : (7 votes)

Mostly... Making some sacrifices, but for the most part it'll be pretty close : (14 votes)

Sort of. My views have sort of "come down" from what I had in mind, so I'm happy with things : (5 votes)

Made a lot of sacrifices... these things are expensive. I'll still be pretty happy with it though : (4 votes)

It's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's nice, and what's important is that we'll be married : (8 votes)

No, but that's okay... money and being married is important. The celebration isn't that big a deal. : (3 votes)

No, and I'm bummed about it =( : (0 votes)
Didn't really have an idea in mind at any point, so I'm happy with what I'm getting : (12 votes)

I didn’t have a “dream wedding” in mind, but it was everything I hoped it would be 🙂 Were there some things I’d have done differently if I had an unlimited budget? Sure! Who wouldn’t? But it was definitely everything I envisioned since I started planning.

Close, if I could double or triple my guest list it would be. We are only having 50 ppl for financial reasons. Also having a morning wedding bc of that so it’s not going to be a huge party with dancing and everything. I’d like to have a first dance and father daughter dance, but we decided to skip the dancing entirely so there would be no need to rent a dance floor and get a dj.

Aesthetically it’s exactly what I want though – I’ve put a ton of work into DIY and really pleased with how its coming together. Our pastor who is also a good friend is marrying us and I’m psyched about that. Oh, and I get to marry my best friend. Can’t really top that 🙂

I think I cheated a little because it became my “dream” wedding dress after I saw it. Before that I had no idea what I wanted! Seriously, no idea. I didn’t even know if I wanted long or short or white or blush, let alone fabric. I didn’t even ask the price of it when I went to try it on, I just knew I had to have it regardless of price. Thankfully it was seriously waaaaaay cheaper than I thought it would be, which was a very pleasent surprise! I can’t wait to wear her! 3 months!

I so far have organised my wedding within the budget set by Fiance and I. But if we were to win the lottery (and therefore not have to budget) we wouldn’t change anything so far from venue, church to the home made invitations! I still have a lot to do and obviously with an unlimited budget things might be different but I’m glad so far I have my ‘dream wedding’….plus having the ‘dream H2B’ helps too!

Nope. If I could have my dream wedding, we would getting married in my parents backyard with just immediate family and the bridal party, really low-key. Instead, we will be inviting all of our extended family, and a bunch of people I do not really care about.

The wedding is in Colorado where they live, so they are organizing everything. I will basically be showing up, with some input on a few things. Definitely not ideal, but I have given up by now. The wedding I am ending up with that I did not want is much more expensive than what I had in mind.

@yanamari:  Yup, we’re eloping. A big fancy wedding is the last thing we want. As much as I love spending money, spending it on one day kinda baffles me!

@yanamari:  When I was younger my dream wedding was a large one with all my friends and family and every person I had ever met haha me in a ball gown, etc. You get the gist. Once I met my fiance and got engaged, we decided on a DW and I absolutely love everything about our wedding now. It’s probably going to be about 80 people and it will be different (no one i know has had a DW) and I love it!

Some things are from my dream wedding & some are different. My biggest dream is to marry fi & getting that so yes. Dream groom, dream flowers, dream centerpieces, dream ceremony, dream dress, dream accessories, dream invites, dream cocktail hour, dinner & dessert hour. Things that are not from my dream wedding are guest list & venue. Our venue is really nice with beautiful chandeliers & amazing food but I had another venue I really really wanted that we didn’t have enough guest for. Would have loved to have our original 120guest list but had to cut to 65 so we could have everything else we wanted.

Having my dream wedding. I’m marrying the guy of my dreams so i already know the day will be perfect no matter what happens as long as he is standing beside me.

We didnt go silly. We got the venues we wanted and kept within budget on everything.

I’m one happy girl and cannot wait for the next 4 months to fly by so my dream can come true.

My dream wedding would be a Destination Wedding in Italy, where we could afford to fly all of our guests and put them up for a few days. But lets be realistic 🙂 Other than this, I am basically getting my dream wedding. We’re only able to get everything I want because its a small wedding so we’re saving a lot of money and can put that into a lot of details.

One thing I really wish we could have is a full band. Our venue was built in 1926 and is very Gatsby-esque. We’re not really having a theme per se, but its impossible to ignore the character of the venue so there will definitely be art deco accents throughout. I think a 12 piece band would be the cherry on the top! Too expensive though.

My goodness that was a detailed poll.

I never cared much about a wedding. So I’m pretty pumped with the nice evening we have planned!

When I was younger, I always imagined an elaborate Catholic wedding with a guestlist of 350 people. Over-the-top and extravagant.

Then I met Fiance, and over-the-top extravagent didn’t suit us. So we’re getting married outdoors, at a winery, with our closest family and friends.

If we were to win the lottery and/or have unlimited funds, I think the only thing I would change is paying for all of our guests’ airfare and accomodations. So yah, I think I am having my dream wedding.
