Hi ladies, This poll is for all bees, even those who chose their own rings completely. Now that you’ve got it, and worn it around for a while or longer (this could be wedding bands too), would you change anything about it? I’m nervous i’m thinking too over the top, or not decorative enough. will i regret telling my SO that I want a skinny band?
Just wondering if there is anything you’d change. I am NOT judging! Feel free to pick as many options as you want.

I guess the only thing I would change is the main stone’s setting. It’s really boxy and plain and I wish it had the traditional prong setting. But I guess since it’s a 3ct stone it’s better to have something really sturdy:)

I love my ring the way it is- It’s the perfect size, color, thickness, etc. My FI picked an absolutely perfect ring for me. 🙂

I love my ring but sometimes I wish the setting was more elaborate. I see all these cool side pics with diamonds on the prongs, etc and mine is super plain.

I love my ring, but if my husband wanted to give me a bigger stone (never gonna happen), I would take it!

It’s not what I would have picked but I do like it.
I’d pick a simpler ring, something without a stone.

I love my ring.. and I didn’t pick it out but I did hint heavily and he got what I wanted. But sometimes I consider removing the side stones. I have a 3 carat ceter stone and a half carat trillion on each side and it spans the entire width of my finger which can sometimes be annoying. And in order to have enough room for the side stones to look right the center stone has to have a somewhat high setting. Hubs and I have talked about making the ring a solitaire and making the side trillions into earrings. I won’t do it any time soon since it’s only been a few years that I’ve had it. But maybe some day. We’ll see how much it gets in the way once I have kids!

I love my ring! My FI and I picked it out together, if I could change one thing it would be able to wear my wedding band with it 🙂

I absolutely love my ring – it has the thin band with pave diamonds I’ve always wanted, and though I had never considered a princess cut diamond, it is GORGEOUS and I do not want to change a single thing about it 😀

When I first got my ring, it was SO BIG on my finger (ring size, not stone size), that there was a chance I was going to have to get a completely new ring. The jeweler was afraid he couldn’t make it small enough to fit without compromising the setting. That completely freaked me out! I could not imagine having to give up the actual ring my FI proposed with and wearing its correctly-fitted twin for the rest of my life instead. So that really opened up my eyes from the beginning about just how much I really do love my ring!
That said, I wouldn’t have minded a larger center stone. 😉 But I’d never part with the original diamond in order to upgrade.
So, moral of the story is, I would have been thrilled with a larger stone from the beginning. But now that I have my baby, I wouldn’t change it at all!

@ravenwait: I love the way it is because I got to pick it out 🙂

I wanted a simple white gold band and that’s what I have. Wouldn’t change it because I rather have other love tokens. Like a Super Charger for my S2K.

I wouldn’t mind upgrading my center stone, but I’m happy with it as is so it’s not a priority!
I will, however, be angling for another (third) matching band, either when the first child happens or for a big anniversary. 😉

I absolutely LOVE my ring. The only thing we would change out is the 2 tiny side diamonds for same size but better quality.

I love my ring but was surprised to see side stones – I’d always wanted a thin white gold band with a diamond, then get diamonds for my actual wedding band. I have 5 channel set diamonds on each side of the stone. He offered to exchange it but there’s no way I’d do that, nope.
