I can't decide if I want to go with a traditional white bouquet or a color bouquet? I was wondering what other brides are doing? and why?
I can't stand the white on white on white bridal look so I am going with a colored bouquet.
I am stuck on two different bouquets, but both go with the "theme" I am having
I'm having flowers that are both white and yellow. So both? :) Can't wait to see how it comes out.
Visual candy;

I thought I wanted all colors but I saw pix where the bouquet kind of takes away from the bride when it's a really colorful bouquet, but I still don't want all white, so I'm doing white with a little bit of pink.
color, I can't resist!

Im going to do shades of white with green accents....my dress is champagne colored so my colors (yellow and green) really wouldnt look good against my dress
Probably white with some green. I don't know, we're not having a whole lot of color in our wedding, so we'll see how the meeting with the florist goes.
mostly white with some color... here are my inspiration pics:

I'm going white and my girls will be mostly white. I am going for texture over color. I love white on white. I think it's because white to me looks clean and crisp. I have a lot of color going on everywhere else.
@ LaborofLove- I love that second bouquet you posted. Where is it from?
I just ordered my bouquet in natural touch flowers! It's called "specialty bling" :) fuschia roses with bling on and in the roses and on the handle. I'm so excited!!!
I am still considering whether or not to do all color or white and color (the color being a garnet/deep red). Either way, I think with my having a crystal white dress, I definitely need some color in my bouquet. :)
Bella
@Bella13, my flowers will be natural touch as well! Very excited to see how they come out! :)
My flowers are white garden roses and white gardenias with blue delphinium and blue veronica, and plenty of greenery. I prefer a more open look to the tight packed ones, and I had heard that white flowers tend to fade against a white dress in pictures.
Mine was like KrissyBee's inspiration! I didn't want white, but I wasn't having really intense color at the wedding, either, so I went with a soft white/ivory/blush look. Mine's on the right and my BM's flowers are on the left to show you the difference
I am so totally torn on this issue. I love color, but I'm afraid one bouquet with all my colors will be too busy, but the plain white/ivory will be too plain. My florist is going to hate me.
Definitely colored... I like bouquets that are mostly one color but with slight variations in shades.
@ejs- your bouquets were so pretty!! i'm snagging your pic and placing in my inspiration folder :)
Ours were pink arm bouquets. They were not a really loud color, but just enough to alleviate the white on white look. They were set up so NotFroofy carried hers on her left arm, and I carried mine on my right, so we could hold hands.

Mine's a soft pinkish/coral bouquet and is being made now. This is the other bouquet made by the designer and the one I'm getting made w/a little bit of a difference (slightly larger with a tad more coral color in it).
As someone who is already married, let me give you a suggestion. Try your dress on and hold bouquets with it (most bridal salons have fake ones to see. If not buy a few silks in coor and white.) I thought I wanted a colored bouquet. But when I went to try my dress on again, the lady handed me a colored bouquet and everyone kinda went "eww...." It just looked bizarre next to my dress. So I asked her for a white bouquet, and it just worked. Id test it out
@Krissybee, if you wnat more, PM me and I'll shoot you a folder ful of them! I just had someone ask me for like 8 pictures of them so i have a bunch on my desktop =]
all white garden roses for me :D (our dear bellenga posted months ago about garden roses and well it just tickled my fancy and I have been in love with them since...) i adore butterflies and may just have a stem of butterflies tucked in there...

i sort of like the greens in this one... (it is peony)

I'm thinking something like this... Love the saturated colors, minus the dangling pieces.

mine's white and pink. my bridesmaid's dresses are very busy, so i gave them white and i wanted pink.
Mine will be white, yellow, and green. My bridesmaids' bouquets will be yellow and white.
I thought I wanted a vibrant bouquet but I when I met with my florist I loved the vintage feel of these soft pink/peach flowers with the greenish center:
Mine is going to be cream, yellow and various shades of pink.
i definitrely want color because its my dream to have tiger lilies since they are my favorite flower.
I was planning on a white bouquet, but this is one thing that my FI was surprisingly decisive on - he wants me to have a colorful bouquet! So, I figured I'll make him happy and have a colorful one! :-)
@rileyjane.. honestly I have no idea! Its just in my inspiration folder. I really want to say stylemepretty or 100layercake but i'm not sure. Let me see if i can do a picture search...
oh dear, tineye couldn't find the pic anywhere... so sorry!
My bouquet will be massive! I am super excited. It will be white roses with mini purple calla lilies scattered in it.
I will probably be doing a traditional white bouquet. I am going with the different texture over different colors. I will be having several different types of flowers in varying shades of ivory and white. And the bm's will have colored bouquets.
