Low maintenance. I spend about 5 mins on my hair, would choose a tshirt and jeans over a dress every single time, love beer, sports, and the occasional cigar. I’m not terribly emotional or in need of a TON of attention. I’m very straightforward – there is no guessing for FI. He will always know what’s wrong if I’m upset.

Hmm…I’m low maintenance in terms of getting ready and dressing up and whatnot but high maintenance in terms of emotions and needing attention, lol

I think I’m low maintenance…if we’re talking about personal appearance, if I could wear flip-flops and a t-shirt every day, I would. But this messes me up for when I have to get dressed up to go somewhere other than running errands…I hate everything I own and can never figure out what to wear, and I hate shopping (unless it’s for my gadgets).  So, in that sense, I can be high maintenance because it gets annoying for me (and probably for FI, even though he says I’m beautiful no matter what, lol).

    Very, very, very low.

Why: Appearances don’t matter to me. I slap on a comfortable t-shirt, a pair of jeans and I go out the door. I don’t need fancy things, I need functional things. I’m not a woman who likes to spend money. I spend it where it is needed and I hoard the rest.

Hmmm… can we get an option for somewhere in-between? LOL.

I’d say I’m low-maintenance in that… I don’t fuss too much about my hair or makeup, my style is pretty laid back, I don’t feel like FI have to go out all the time or be spending money on dates, and I don’t get bothered by a whole lot. In that respect I’m pretty laid-back.

On the other end, sometimes I can be high-maintenance in that: I like to get lots of hugs and kisses, and I’m always asking FI to do me lots of little ‘favors.’ “Can you scratch my back? While we’re out can we stop at Starbucks? Would you mind taking my trash to the dumpster on the way out? Can you please watch this super cheesy movie with me?” Stuff like that. ๐Ÿ˜›

I’ll say I’m pretty high maintenanced on a superficial level. I wear a full face of makeup daily and I do spend a fair amount of time (and money) on my hair. I also often choose fashion over function (e.g. uncomfy shoes). I also shop a lot for new clothes and get beauty treatments, such as manicures.

However, I consider myself fairly easygoing and tolerant so I don’t really engage in attention-seeking behavior. People seem to want to be my friend and I have a reputation for being straightforward and “what you see is what you get”.

Low maintenance in terms of needing attention/willingness to go with the flow. High maintenance in terms of time I spend in front of the mirror.

@littlemisst08:  Haha ME TOO. But it SUCKS because that seems to be one of the things that FI is INCAPABLE of doing without trying to grope me about three minutes in. I end up constantly finding myself slapping his hands away. XD

Wow! I feel bad so far mostly low maintenance… honestly I’m high maintenance. Due to our business I am mostly casual, but any chance I get to go all out I do. I have driven 50 miles to my eyebrow lady. As far as emtionally, somewhere in the middle.

Low maintenance as far as hair, makeup, etc. I don’t style my hair, I don’t wear any makeup at all, I wear t-shirts and jeans and sneakers everywhere. If I have to get dressed up I feel very, very weird, like a fish out of water, haha.

But I’m high maintenance in terms of attention, physical affection, etc. I always always always want hugs, kisses, snuggles – anything that gets FI touching me and paying attention to me. I can’t get enough ๐Ÿ™‚ lucky for me he’s the same way!

Low for most everything, high for some things.
