I hadn’t planned on highlights until my stylists convinced me to add red foils in two tones throughout and I love it. It really makes my skin look brighter and I love being a faux redhead.

After buying my dress in alabaster I actually think the warmth from the red really works well with the dress so I am planning on keeping the red for the wedding.

Mine will probably be highlighted. Thats my usual style though.

I’m a natural blonde and I’ve been red for almost 10 years now. That won’t change for my wedding. 🙂 I don’t see the point of drastic changes for the wedding. If you want to get highlights as an everday thing and keep them for the wedding, I’d say go for it. If it’s just for the wedding I wouldn’t bother.

i’ve got long dark brown hair and am going to get sparse highlights redone a few weeks before the wedding (no roots!) i had fairly fresh highlights in my e-pics and think it looked really nice and it will help my hair from looking like a giant black ball lol

My stylist recommended I dye my hair, but something close to my natural color. It gives your hair a shiny look and the color will be even throughout since sometimes the ends lighten up a bit.

Mine will be dyed a slightly darker brown than my natural colour.  It’s always like that though.  I would probably not want to try something new just for the wedding 🙂

Highlighted and lowlighted! 🙂 I am a dirty blonde so it’s really just to ‘pop’ the color and cover any roots from the fall when I had to dye my hair for a play.

DEFINITELY doing color AND highlights. I hate my natural haircolor and I am always doing something to it. I have that ugly, dull, mousey-brown color. Blech!

I dyed my hair, but not special “for the wedding.”

I’m 27 and fairly grey. So, i *always* dye my hair.

    No highlights, though.

ETA I didn’t vote, because I think the “i dyed my hair” vote is counteractive to what my actions were, i.e. keep everything the same.

I am keeping my natural hair color. I have never had my hair dyed or hilighted my hair, and as much as I have been thinking about it I am scared to mess with my hair before the day.. lol

Man the only time I see my natural hair is when it is an inch out grown….lol…I always keep the out growth on lock down…..most people who meet me think my color is natural anyways…I just do a nich dark brown with a natural red under tone! This is how it will be for the wedding….and then come the fun part after the wedding when I go back to my short spiky hair with a side swept bang…and the bang with be usually a different color….usually I have a littel bit of the red brown color over its o that its a peek a boo effect! But I can get away with that look because I am a hairstylist so usually my job doesnt have a problem with it!

I considered getting peekaboo highlights, just a few shades lighter than my original color. But I decided not to. I have been working hard on trying to keep it as virgin as possible, because my hair has become really weak since I have had my son. Plus, I was born with natural red highlights that come out in the sun ( like really red!) so I’m not too concerned anyways.
