Sticking to tradition hardcore lol. No seeing my dress and no first look. He’ll see my dress for the first time when I walk down the aisle 🙂

I don’t know why I would. I can’t imagine he will care about it as much as I do! And if he hates it on the hanger, I’m going to want to buy a new one, and we really can’t afford that!

@mrshahn2b:  I’m not! I can’t wait to surprise him although it’s killing me already and I really want to show him.. But we are doing a first look, so he will be seeing it before the ceremony and we are having a night time wedding as well, if I remember correctly the ceremony is at 7. All pictures will be done before.

Mine wouldn’t, even if I offered.  He wants to know very little about the details because he wants to be surprised.  That, and I don’t think he cares what color the bridesmaid dresses are or what the cake icing is made of!

We’re doing a private destination wedding/elopement thing so he’ll probably be the one helping me get my dress on that day.

We went dress shopping together. And it hung up in the corner of our bedroom for two weeks before the wedding because it would’t fit in the closet. So, no, definitely didn’t stick to that tradition.

my dh went dress shopping with me and bought my dress so he saw it well before the wedding day.  in fact, we even got ready together in our hotel suite.  nothing traditional for us.

I tried showing him a picture but he wouldn’t look and then told my mom!! Lol I showed him pictures of me in other dresses so i thought he wouldn’t care about seeing it, apparently I was wrong.  We are doing a first look though, I don’t want to spend a majority of the reception taking pictures.

I’ve actually taken my FI dress shopping with each of my weddings.  My theory was that s/he was going to be looking at it more than I would, so I wanted something my FI liked.

He knows what dress I’m wearing because I seen it at the end of a movie [in a wedding scene], and it just kind of blurt out, “OMG THATS MY DRESS!”.

@mrshahn2b:  Sticking to tradition. He won’t see me in my gown until my Dad and I walk up the path leading to the chapel (I know he’ll peek through the giant windows).

@mrshahn2b:  My FI wants to wait until I walk down the aisle to see my dress. He was adamently against the first looks as he wants to be surprised. He won’t even let me talk about the material, shape, color, or anything that has to do with the dress. In his mind my dress is purple and covered in peacock feathers.
