We are! This is our first married Christmas (barely!) I wanted to do a picture, but DH refused to do them with photos until we have kids, so I am still searching around!
I send out holiday cards every year! I even sign little paw prints with our cats's names. My FILs think I'm a little nuts... ;) I don't do picture ones, though, just nice handwritten cards. I try to find ones that look a little homemade or crafty (they seem more personal to me) and just buy them whenever I see a great deal throughout the year.
I am, I do every year! Im doing picture ones. For my first year together it was a wedding picture, this year im going to put on of us in Greece and England and one of our kitty! I like the photo ones as i keep a card from each year so i know what happened :)
I have looked at
moo.com
kodak.com
costco.com
snapfish
and vistaprint
Although the set up is much nice at all the other sites, you cant beat costco. 40 photo cards with lined envelopes for 19.00 :)
I always buy my cards a year in advance at the after christmas sales. I got some really cute ones last year that just say "Ho Ho Ho" in bright letters. I embellish with a short note for each person, plus envelope liners and wrap-around address labels. No picture cards till we have kids.
I hope to finish my cards over Thanksgiving weekend. I'm going to order the labels off etsy this week and I already bought the scrapbook paper to start making envelope liners. My mom always did her cards during her Christmas break and would call them New Year's cards. Her sister always finished them on Thanksgiving while the rest of the family played board games and watched football. I think I'd rather be like my aunt.
eeep I feel akward about sending out cards with our pictures on it now...
@Baileyh: oh we're definitely putting our picture on our cards. I love our wedding pictures. Gotta use them somewhere!
@Meowkers: I did a wedding one last year. This year i was going to do some of us on our honeymoon, maybe one in Greece, one in England etc....
is that weird?
@Baileyh: not at all. that's a great idea! I think your friends and family will really enjoy seeing those pictures.
@Meowkers: geez louise..i just looked at your wedding pictures...GORGEOUS...can i have a christmas card from you too :)
@Baileyh: LOL well thank you. (kind of blushing right now).
Yuppers! Got a head start this year becuase things will be crazy once we get into the new house and I wanted to pay for the cheapest shipping from Vistaprint.
Here it is and the thread I started previously :)

We're also using them as pseudo moving announcements.
Our holiday cards are also doubling as our STDs. My FI manages a a FEDEX Office, so he is going to design and print them himself. We are planning on sending them out the first week of December.
We are getting some from vista print (oversized postcards with pictures of my kiddos in their christmas dresses) They are free other than shipping!
Here are mine! Obviously, our names are our real names, and I also added two pictures to the top - one wedding and one from when DH graduated from Navy boot camp, but I am freaked out about posting our picture on the interwebz... :)

ETA: Sorry about the text box on top. It was a screen shot, and the bubble wouldn't go away. You get the idea about the design anyways. :)
I'd love to do photo cards, but our thank-you cards included photos, and I don't want it to be overkill or make us look too self-centered. Thoughts?
@Gemstone: I kind of feel the same way. Our thank you cards had a wedding picture, and I don't really want to do another picture. Plus DH refuses to have his picture taken again, LOL. His parents sent out photo Christmas cards every year, and he swore, no more until we have a baby.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: That makes sense. And haha about your husband. My husband doesn't love getting his photo taken either. So I'm thinking it'll just be a standard card this year.
We're doing cards on the cheap. My hubby did this on photoshop so we'll just print them out, and I'm making DIY cards out of cardstock to go with them.

we do cards every year- ive done them at walgreens or snapfish but we usually go to costco and get the 50 for $14,99 and add one more set ( we have large families) we always do photo pics- the one year we didnt people complained!
we have ours half done ..they go out in the mail around the 10th or 15th :)
We splurged on ours and ordered from Shutterfly with the stationary paper. On the front is a pic of the three of us from our annual family OBX trip and on the back is a wedding photo of the three of us. Love them! Mailing sometime after Thanksgiving.
For the first time, yes! We picked them up at Papyrus the other day. I'm going to put our picture inside.
I love sending holiday cards! These are ours, ordered through Vistaprint when they were running a great sale on them a few weeks ago..

We've already received them, just need to find the time to address them!
Christmas cards get sent out every year. They're usually purchased from Walmart or Target in the Christmas section.

How many bees are sending out holiday cards this year? Where are you ordering them?
Had anyone designed theirs already? post pics!
This will be our first year sending out a holiday card and I'm super excited to get to play with all the different designs out there.
