Yes, we included them with our wedding invite for appropriate guests. I designed my own invite and just printed it on a nice piece of card stock. Then I slipped into the invite pocket.

My MIL did send them out since they were hosting, but I helped pick out a design because A) I’m type-A and B) I wanted them to flow with the theme of our wedding. It worked out great. She took care of the RSVP’s and it arrived in my mailbox one day. We sent them out about 6-8 weeks before the wedding since peopl that come to that event are coming to the wedding as well so they don’t need as much notice. I created a new google doc from my guest list that had just the rehearsal invitees after having budget/number conversations first.

SparkleBee11:  Hmm…not sure. We technically paid for our rehearsal dinner (complicated situation, MIL ran out of money), but we hosted it at her house. We still sent them out and didn’t think much of it. It saved on postage and it kept everything together.

We’re sending invitations out a month before the rehearsal. My FH’s aunt is hosting, but she’s older so we’re taking care of all the details such as the reservation and sending the invitations (her name will be one them).

We made a cute little card with all the information and included it in the invitation to save on postage. Our wedding was also somewhat destination, so we wanted to make sure everyone knew about it in advance.
