Dunkin Donuts! I’ve had all 3 and I’m a die hard dunkin fan. Starbucks is too strong and Tim Horton’s is just not the same as my DD.

FI and I went to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side 2 weeks ago, I never heard of Tim Horton’s until then…+1 for Dunkin! I had Starbucks while we were there for the first time in a long time, and I wound up with the worst belly ache :-/

It depends on what mood I’m in.  I rarely buy drip coffee from Starbucks, but I definitely would go there in search of a latte. And, believe it or not, I actually really like McDonald’s coffee.  I actually buy Dunkin coffee for home every once in a while (love Pumpkin Spice!).  I used to live in a neighborhood where there was literally seven reputable places for coffee within two blocks of my apartment: two Starbucks, two idependent coffee shops, two bagel shops, and a Panera.  I almost never went to the coffee shops for coffee because I wasn’t yuppie enough to fit in.

    I voted other because…

    – if I brew at home, I like a specific type of grounds from a Michigan-based company.

    – if I go out, it’s to a Michigan-based franchise called Biggby. Sbux coffee is nasty–we don’t even really have a Sbux here. We have a couple of cafes inside other businesses (a grocery store and Barnes and Noble), but no true stores.

it depends what i’m in the mood for.  something simple – tim hortons.  something tastier – starbucks.

my preference would be starbucks.  i kind of have a soft spot for it b/c that’s where i met my dh.

I put I’ll drink anything, but I mean I’ll drink any coffee. I ALWAYS have the hotel room coffee first thing in the morning when I’m staying at a hotel. I need it before I can even get ready to go to a coffee shop.

@PermaStudent:  I love it, but then again, I’m not a coffee afficianado by any means! I prefer flavored coffees. I’ve also had Tim Hortons when I’ve traveled and I’d prefer it to Starbucks, but it doesn’t compare to Dunkins for me!  I’d suggest checking it out when you get a chance, especially if you are in the new england area ever. I swear it tastes better from there. I am in NY now and the Dunkins here just aren’t the same. I also never brew at home. I have one cup of iced coffee a day from Dunkins (no matter the season!) and that’s it for me.

I’m a Starbucks girl. I know my order, I like how it turns out, and there is a Starbucks to be found everywhere I go. Except for England. The ones I went into there don’t do iced coffee. 🙁

I also love cute independent coffee shops with cool vibes. I don’t mind those for a good hang out, but for a quick coffee grab, I do Starbucks.

Timmies for doughnuts and Ice Caps! I’m not really a coffee drinker, if I go to a coffe chain I usually get the “coffee milkshakes” as I call them.  I prefer Caribou over Starbucks, but they are only in a few states.  If I go to Starbucks I will order “small” or “medium” not their weird names though.
