I had originally planned on it, but the photographer and package I wanted would have been about $750, and that was one of the lower packages she offered. It also didn't include getting my hair done or anything, so that would also be an extra expense.
I changed my mind because I don't feel like putting that kind of money out right now for boudoir pics and honestly I don't feel like dealing with another thing before the wedding. I think it would stress me out to have to prepare for a boudoir shoot. I'm considering maybe doing it for our one year anniversary.
I'd really like to, but it's not in the budget right now. If I have some spare money laying around at some point (ha!) I'll revisit the idea, but until then keeping our animals fed and the textbook industry happy takes precedence.
I am on May 9! I'm excited/nervous! (I was able to get a pretty good deal - I'm just getting a CD with the images, then making an album myself.)
i plan on doing it... i think i'll make it a surprise for FI. I just hope they turn out okay and its not too awkward :D
I did them as a welcome home gift when he got back from being deployed. it was fun =]. mine were in a studio, though.
I plan on it, but I'm just not sure who will take the photos for me and when I'll be able to do it. I have a great MOH out in Seattle who would do a great job, but I don't know if/when I'll be able to get out there before the wedding, so we'll see.
I really want to, but it's probably not going to happen because of budget constraints.
I will be doing it at a swanky hotel with my female photographer. Afterwards, I'm going to treat the FI to a night on the town and we'll have a room to stay in.
I was thinking about it, but FI flat out told me that he doesn't know what he'd do with them other than hide them in a drawer, so I figured it was a waste of money. I'm going to put that money away for a few years from now and do a pregnancy shoot- at least those I would be able to frame and put on the wall! :)
I would try to find out if your FI is into it or not. A lot of guys just seem totally bewildered by the whole concept. Like, "Why do I need a picture of you in lingerie when I can just see you naked whenever I want?" (My FI's words...) ;)
I have done boudoir photos before and plan to do a book for my FI for his wedding gift. The key is to find a photographer you are comfortable with. I use a friend who shoots models for a lving. Since he is not a wedding photographer I pay an hourly rate which includes re-touching on a set number of photos. if I want more I pay more. He also has a local printer who will print the photos (the majority of his shots include nudes so you can't just take the disc to wal-mart). Look around on Facebook and MySpace. You'd be amazed at the deals you can get.
i had my shoot last week and im counting down the days til i get to see my pics!!!
I really want to..but i have no idea how much it would be and if any photogs in the very conservative MS area will do it..

I was thinking about it and was just wondering if you ever have before or plan on doing it?
